The Birth of a Demon Lord

Labels affect people's lives in any world. As it turns out, being a demon brings a bunch of dangers. After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold. Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

Hallucinations?

I must have passed out at some point because I don't remember entering the village, or meeting any of its occupants.

I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes, it felt like even my eyelids were fighting against me. My entire body was still incredibly sore and having injuries on both sides of my body meant that no matter how I lay on the bed, it hurt.

I slowly looked around, my body protesting at every movement, seeing the inside of a rather plain house with simple wooden furniture. There was nothing as fancy as the appliances I had seen in the capital (I guess that was to be expected), but the bed was quite comfy and that was all that mattered.

As I continued scanning the room, seeing the golden light of day through an open window, a face was suddenly shoved in front of mine.

Before I could take in the face, let alone speak, the person opened their mouth speaking extremely rapidly.
