| The Academy

On that night, Elyse now understand why she should be helping them. There was a story about Lucia cursing the alphas after they died. Heart full of hatred towards them, she cursed their descendants to feel pain every life and will be always in lower-class. They won't feel love nor know what happiness and love is like.

A cruel curse was placed upon them. Everyone hate Lucia even more. Also, the diary that Elyse found in Maria's mansion is named after Lucia she thinks that Lucia and the previous master is one.

In the legend, Lucia is a powerful goddess. Her birth parents were a goddess and a powerful vampire. Both born from a noble family yet it was incest. If you're a vampire and you fell in love with the mother of the vampires — Selene then that is incest. When Lucia is born, she was hated by everyone especially her mother's family.

She was used and was abused because of that. On the day of betrayal, she awaken her true powers and turned the world she lived in before into dust and put a curse to them. After that, no one hears about Lucia anymore.

If Lucia suddenly disappears after the war she created on the other dimension, then that means she was travelling far and wide to create another dimension and that is the world where Elyse now born is.

Elyse has now new missions. One, is to save her family. Two, find Lucia the previous master. And three, find out the curse and a way to break it.

Elyse packed all of her things to her suitcase. Elyse stopped when she heard a knock from her door room. She opens the door to see Maria smiling to her. Elyse greeted her.

"Your Grace." She said. "Can i enter?" Maria asked which made Elyse nodded nonchantly. Maria then enters her room and scanned the surroundings. She took a small box in her pocket and opens it giving the small box to Elyse.

"What is this?" She asked. "It's a jewelry that i found in your parent's room under the bed. " Maria answered. Slowly, Elyse reached out her hand to take out the small piece of a beautiful golden jewelry. It was a diamond-shaped gold stone pendat surrounded by a silver white chain.

"A jewelry?" Elyse spoke as she looked into Maria's eyes. Just by looking at the precious necklace, this can cover their yearly expenses for about 3 years. It's simple and elegant but because of the golden stone inside the pendat that makes it even more beautiful and expensive.

"It's an apology actually. Since, i know you missed your family so much i gave you this." She said. "You said that my family is somewhere around here to keep them. Can you please take me to them?" Elyse said with her eyes pleading.

"I'm sorry. But the area i kept your family is forbidden to people like you. I'm afraid our current Master will be furious to know that a commoner lady entered the chamber where your family are." Maria explained. Elyse nodded her head and calms herself down.

"Okay." She said.

She looked at the sun rising from the east as the butler took all of her belongings to the carriage. It's the day for her to enter the Academy.

"One last thing, Elyse." Maria caresses Elyse's cheeks and stares at her. "Find our previous master whatever it takes. And also, don't forget what other matters you need to attend to." She reminded her.

Elyse slightly trembling from the thought that she's entering the academy that she's been wanting for her entire life, nodded with her head held high.

"I will. I promise." Maria froze from Elyse's words as she was reminded by the person she cherishes the most.

"Let me take you there, Elyse." Lucas appeared from behind her. Elyse looks at him and nodded. Maria lets go of Elyse's cheeks and backed off. She entered the carriage with Lucas and when the carriage door was closed. Elyse looked at Maria at the last moment.

She smiles. And the carriage started moving.

"Are you nervous?" It's been 15 minutes since the carriage took off. Elyse took a deep breath and shook off her head.

"Your heart is pounding so hard, you're nervous." He said which made Elyse creeped out a little. Lucas stared at the carriage window with his cool and emotionless eyes.

The four leaders has similar appearances. Red ruby eyes and white snow skin. But you can tell the difference by them. Lucas look cool and emotionless while Wayne and Yohan looks more intimidating and looks like a true leader. Maria is different because of her sweet and calming presence. Though she's a vampire, there's a hint that Maria was once a human.

"May i ask about your previous master?" Elyse asked to break the long time silence in between them. Lucas doesn't talk too much about his life which made Elyse think that he's uninterested.

"Master is full of secret. She's mysterious and also you don't know what's running in her mind." Lucas answered which made Elyse shocked.

"Did she mention something about her past?" Lucas shook off his head as his answer. While looking outside, he remembered how his previous master work overnight everyday. She won't rest and would always stay awake everyday.

She would sometimes collapse because of overworking but that doesn't stop her.

"This is my punishment for myself, Lucas. You don't needn't worry." She once said as the blue petals from the moon tree fell gently to the ground.

"That is foolish, Master." She slightly laugh. "It is indeed foolish." The smart Lucas couldn't understand her even until today.

When Lucas heard that the previous master went missing, he tried to calm them down and think rationally. But as the years went by, their master is still nowhere to be seen and it made Lucas getting anxious day by day. He also, couldn't understand himself why he feels this way.

Lucas know that their previous master stares at them like a slave and also a tool for her to use. She's that cruel. But, there were parts that he saw how kind and gentle she was once been.

"My Lord?" Elyse called him. Lucas blinked his eyes getting himself together as they arrived at the huge castle gates of The Academy.

The Academy also represents the power and authority of The Empire. It was also built that way.

Elyse went off to the carriage and stares at the huge silver gates. She was in awe to see a fountain in the middle of the entrance to the doors of the castle and gardens on each side. Students walking elegantly while others sat on the ground as they read their own book.

A woman who looks like she's in her 30's greeted them. The students saw them and they bows down their heads to pay respect on the 2nd Leader — Lucas.

"It is a great pleasure to personally meet you here, Your Highness." The woman said as she elegantly bows down her head and smiles warmly.

"No need. I'm just here to drop her off." The students who stares at him earlier with twinkiling eyes of hearts and admiration now turns their head and eyes towards Elyse.

Their eyes filled with indifferent and hatred towards her, but some looks at her with admiration because of her unique presence and appearance.

The woman froze for a moment, staring at Elyse as if she remembered someone from a very long ago. She reached out her hand to shake.

"I am Headmistress Serena of The Academy." She introduced herself. Elyse was about to accept her hands that she offered but she backed out and turns her head to Lucas.

"So, your Highness are you staying here for awhile?" The look on the headmistress looks displeased towards Elyse but to Lucas whose handsome as the moonlight with his cool demeanor which can also translates as "uninterested to them". The headmistress stares at him with flirty eyes.

Elyse felt a little disgusted towards her but she cannot blame the headmistress because Lucas is indeed beautiful.

With is as usual, his cool demeanor, red eyes and snow white skin with his pinkish lips that looks similar to the pink roses and his silver white hair that can shine under the moonlight.

Lucas looks cool — no, uninterested towards the headmistress so he pulled Elyse towards his body as if hugging her and whispered to her ear, "let's go."

And they both walk inside The Academy's door when it opened to itself.

She was welcomed by the hanging huge chandalier and students walking in each hallways. There's also another fountain in the middle and huge golden stairs upfront.

Lucas let her go when he saw how Elyse amazed by her surrounding. He cannot help but to smile a little.

"The classes starts tomorrow, Ms. Elyse." The headmistress appears again beside her but Elyse is still in her own little world. Growing up in the small village outside the Empire for her — the golden lights, stairs and chandalier is another level to her.

The headmistress's mouth open in shock due to Elyse's manners. Trembling in humiliation, The headmistress decides to calm down and speak to Lucas.

"Your Highness, this way please." She said while bowing her head as she pointed out her office. Once they arrived at her office, the headmistress looks at him with flirty eyes while Lucas still in his uninterested look and just sat down on the couch leaning against it.

It made him look even more hotter which made the headmistress felt a little hot in her body.

"Would you like some tea?" Lucas nodded in silence and she pours him tea. Lucas stares at the tea, doubting if there's poison or not. It's actually written on his face.

"I changed my mind." The headmistress trembled again irritated by his manners. But still, Lucas is still a leader. Once she marries Lucas and became a lady of the house she will have all the wealth and power and be with the other leaders such as Yohan and Wayne.

The headmistress imagines her men of harem in front of Lucas.

"How humiliating." He mumbles. The people of the empire only knows how the leaders had the most authority and power throughout the world. But they didn't know their true powers and who they were before they became leaders.

"I can smell her greed for power and lust." He mumbles again which made the headmistress feel uncomfortable.

"You know, Your Highness —" The conversation were interrupted when suddenly a knock on the door came in. The irritation on the headmistress's face were clear as the sun.

She turns her head towards the door and asked, "who is it?" With her clear irritated voice.

"Madame?" Lucas's eyes turned to the door. The headmistress had no other choice but to stand up and open the door. When she opens it, the scenery of the room changed into a classroom.

Wayne appears in front of him.

"You really like pulling pranks on that." Lucas commented. Wayne turned around and looked at him with a mischievous smile on his face.

"What? That's not a thank you. You're complaining." Lucas rolled out his eyes and glares at him.

"That headmistress still wants us eh?" The both of them couldn't help but to smile and laugh to each other.

"Where is Elyse?" Lucas stopped laughing when he remembered that he just left Elyse alone. Wayne took a deep breath and sigh.

"I didn't know you inherited her attitude also." He shook off his head and starts searching for Elyse.
