The next day, Amira went to her office as usual. After checking her schedule, she prepared to meet with a potential customer today from a lawyer’s office, Susilo and Partners. Amira was confused since what would a lawyer’s office want to do business with her company? Yet, since the appointment was set a week ago, she had no choice but to go to a restaurant reserved by the lawyer’s office.
She approached the receptionist, and when she mentioned her name, the staff immediately said, “Mr. Susilo told us by phone that he would be here soon. So, please order any meals you want, Miss Amira.”
“Thank you.”
The reception staff called a server, and he showed her the table.
“May I have the menu, please?”
The server gave her the menu book and left another in front of Amira. When Amira checked the menu, a man came. Amira raised her head to smile at the one who came, then she startled. “It’s you!”
