21 Ardy Becomes a Target

That punch from Alex would not have had much effect on Ardy, who had been fighting in the local UFC scene in New York City, but the problem was that Alex's fist had been coated with a rock that was meant to harm Ken, so it was that rock that now caused the injury to Ardy's cheek.

Ardy's cheek was bleeding after being hit by Alex's rock-laden punch. Ardy collapsed, sitting on the grass while holding his cheek because of the extreme pain in his cheek.

Alex, feeling guilty, immediately sat down to see what he had done to Ardy's cheek.

Heri, who previously didn't get a chance to attack Ken because Ken had taken a position closer to Ardy and at the same time away from Heri, now tried to do his proud kick that he learned during Karate training.

Heri kicked while jumping towards Ken. Heri was confident that his kick would hit Ken in the stomach and knock him down. Heri plans to launch his punches when Ken falls.

However, Heri didn't know that Ken was standing in his current position for no reason at all. Actually, Ken was standing in this position to provoke Heri's attack because behind Ken's body, there was Ardy who was moaning in pain after being hit with a rock by Alex earlier.

Heri shouted loudly. He kicked while jumping high with all the power he had. He was happy that Ken didn't dodge, Ken looked resigned and would soon be hit hard by his kicks.

Heri had predicted that Ken would groan in pain and fall down as his stomach was kicked hard by Heri. But, just as Heri's hard kick was about to hit Ken's stomach, Ken suddenly moved his body to the side so that Heri's swift kick did not manage to hit Ken's stomach but, instead, continued to slide towards Ken's back.

Heri realized that there was Ardy, who had been sitting down and was now about to stand up while holding his cheek.

Just as Ardy was about to stand up, a hard kick from Heri slid towards Ardy and Heri's face became the target again. The hard kick from Heri, who had deliberately come to the office today wearing soccer shoes that had bulges underneath them, now hit Ardy's face very hard.

Ardy fell backwards for the second time. If he had only been knocked down by Alex's rock-laden punch earlier, this time he was completely knocked to the grass by Heri's soccer-boot-wearing kick.

"Ouch... sorry, boss. I didn't mean to." Heri hurriedly approached Ardy, crouched down and apologized to Ardy.

Ardy closed his eyes as he felt his face ache after being punched and kicked twice in a row by two of his men. Ardy used his fist to hit Heri in the face just as he had done to Alex earlier, just after Alex hit him and came to apologize to him.

Heri fell down after feeling Ardy's hard punch. But, just like Alex who was hit by Ardy earlier, Heri was not angry at Ardy for hitting him. His anger was directed at Ken, who he thought was the one responsible for hitting his friend and boss.

"Hit that cleaning service! Lure him away from me. I don't want your foolishness to make me get hit again!" Ardy said as he lay still to wait for the pain to subside.

Alex and Heri nodded at each other. They moved away from Ardy's position, so that Ardy would no longer be the target of their punches and kicks. Haras, who was feeling a bit better, now joined them. The three of them moved away from Ardy's position and lured Ken towards them.

Meanwhile, the employees who had been following the 4-on-1 battle were talking amongst themselves.

"It was really exciting. I didn't expect this fight to be this exciting. I thought it would be a massacre for the cleaning service."

"That's right. I thought so too. I thought the cleaning service would be knocked out and trampled by Boss Ardy and his three friends."

"I thought that after one punch, the cleaning service would beg for mercy or run away. Eh, it turned out like this. It's very different from what I imagined. But... it's fun, too. Hehehe."

"Agreed. We have to keep our distance. Don't go too far. Don't follow his strategy. Hit him, push him, but, we shouldn't overdo our movements that could make us hit our own friends like earlier," Alex adds.

"Okay. I got it. Let's execute this plan," Haras concluded.

After that, the three of them began to approach Ken with slow steps from three positions.
