Christopher got Abigail to the hospital. He felt a sense of profound relief as he watched Abigail receive the medical care she needed. The timely intervention had prevented her condition from worsening, and both his wife and their unborn child were now safe. Nevertheless, a lingering disappointment gnawed at the back of his mind.
Christopher couldn't fathom what had driven Abigail to put herself in such grave danger by walking into Lance's den. The questions plagued his thoughts as he struggled to understand her motives. He wondered if she had considered her own condition, the potential risks, or the impact her actions would have on their family.
He couldn't shake the feeling that had she been concerned about Elsa, Abigail could have at least informed him, allowing them to strategize and find a safer way to rescue her. Her decision to confront Lance without thinking of the consequences had only exacerbated the danger for everyone involved.
