Chapter 2.

"Who is she?" the beautiful woman asked Caranta happily.

"She is the new nanny here, Aunt Kelian."

"I see. Hi!" She turned her attention to Kanyard. "Take your medicine. I will always remind you because you forget quickly."

"Always?" He asked.

"Yes, I will stay at your mansion, my dearest Kanyard."

"But why? You have a son and a husband at your home, right?"

"Yeah. But I need to take care of you. That's my promise to your mom."

"I know, aunt. I'm sorry, It's not that I don't want you to live here. I'm just worried about your family."

"Shh. It's okay."

He looked at Caranta. "Hey, I'm sorry earlier because I slapped you."

Kelian was shocked. "OH MY GOD, KANYARD! I didn't teach you to hurt women."

"Ma'am, you are thinking wrong. Sir Kanyard slapped me because I had a nightmare earlier," She smiled at him, "Sir, that's nothing. Thanks again."

"You can leave," He seriously said.

"Sir, yes, sir."

She went to the kitchen. She started washing the dishes.

After she washed the dishes, she went to the garden.

"Is it true that I have been freed?" She asked herself.

She sat on the chair. She watches the birds fly.

Later, she was surprised because she saw Kanyard sitting in the other seat. She bowed to him, but he ignored her.

She stared at Kanyard when he started playing the guitar.

She stared at the side of his face. She felt peace because of the sound of the guitar.

She couldn't explain her feelings when his jaws tightened.

She didn't realize that she was smiling at him because he was playing the guitar seriously.

"Are you staring at me?" He asked without looking at her.

"N-no, Sir."

"I have peripheral vision, though."

"But why do you have to ask me if I'm staring at you?"

"Nothing," He whispered.

She snorted.

"Uhm… Sir, you know, my dream is to learn to play the guitar."

He exhaled deeply, "Oh."

"S-sorry, Sir."

She ran inside the mansion because she felt ashamed.

"Crisel, is there anything you want me to do? I'm done with my work."

"Uhm… Can you please clean Sir Kanyard's room?"

"O-okay… But, I think I need his permission first."

"No need. One of Sir Kanyard's rules is that when a maid is busy, another maid can take over the work in this mansion."

"I understand."

"Go ahead, Caranta."

She went to Kanyard's room. She was amazed because the theme of his room was black and pink.

She sighed, "It's great that other men are now aware that they can use the color pink for anything they want."

She opened the pink bow window. She smiled because the fresh air came to her.

She went to the table to arrange the papers. But a strong wind came in, and suddenly a piece of paper flew away. But before the paper could get out of the window, she caught it. But she didn't realize that when she jumped, her whole body would fall too. She was about to fall, but someone suddenly grabbed her foot.

"Omg! Help!" She shouted.

"Relax; I'm holding your foot."

She was suddenly silent. She felt herself blush.

Kanyard quickly picked her up.

She was surprised when their faces met.

"Next time, be careful," He whispered.

She closed her eyes because his breath smelled so good.

"Y-yes, Sir, sorry. Thank you so much."

She felt small about herself because of his height.

"What are you doing here, Caranta?"

"I am the one assigned to clean your room."

"I see. Take your time. I will leave." He walked away.

When Kanyard got out, a picture frame caught her attention. She smiled when she saw Kanyard hugging a maid in a picture.

After she cleaned Kanyard's room, she immediately went straight inside her room.

It's late.

She was about to lie down but someone suddenly knocked.

"Good evening, Sir Kanyard. What are you doing here?"

She was surprised when he quickly pushed her against the wall.

"S-sir… W-what is the reason for you to push me?"

"Are you ready to be my slave?"

"WHAT?!" She pushed him. "I can understand why you quickly hired me as a nanny in this mansion because you still want to do something with me."

"Do you think I will agree to be your slave? HUH?!" She added.

"Hey, woman, what are you thinking?" He turned around. "You will be my slave; you will do everything I want you to do, like you're going to carry my heavy bag."

"O-oh… I see, Sir."

He sighed, "Do you think I will make you a sex slave?"

"Yes, actually."

He smirked, "No, it's not like that."

"Hey, Caranta, make me coffee."

"Yes, Sir!"

"Hey, why are you still looking at me?"

She smiled, "Thank you for not taking advantage of my weakness."

"Tsk," He replied.

After a few minutes. Caranta returned to Kanyard's room with coffee.

"I'm leaving, Sir."

"No. What I want is that when I finish my coffee, you will make one again."

"O-okay… Sir."

Caranta went to the kitchen again to make Kanyard coffee. She was about to go upstairs, but she saw a man wearing black Balaclavas.

"OMG! Help!" She shouted loudly.

Crisel and all the maids came out of their rooms because of Caranta's shout.

The thief quickly pulled Crisel away.

"No! Don't touch me!" Crisel shouted.

Kanyard saw what was happening. He suddenly sat up and trembled with fear.

When Caranta saw him trembling, she suddenly felt sorry for him.

She was about to approach Kanyard, but she was more worried about Crisel.

They were all surprised when the thief suddenly pulled out a gun.

The thief pointed the gun at Crisel's head. All the maids are begging the thief for the gun to be put down. The guards couldn't do anything either.

The thief demanded expensive jewels. And a lot of money.

Caranta knelt down. "Please, give Crisel to us…"

The thief smirked, "Give me everything I want! Or else all of you will die!"

All the maids rushed to get the jewels and money. While Kanyard remains dumbfounded while sitting.

"Sir, Sir, are you okay?" Caranta asked him. She held his head. She didn't think that behind his brave face, he was afraid of something.

They were all surprised when they heard a gunshot.
