Chapter 3

Today was monday and thankfully I survived Saturday and Sunday. Why do I say that I survived well if you remember I went to party in a club Friday and accidentally told one of my brothers on Saturday and I spend the whole day in lectures. So my brothers finally reached a punishment for me, would you like to know what that is? I was not allowed to go drive anymore, they took my car keys and since I drove there I spend the whole weekend there and I never thought of that incident.

I was not allowed to anywhere besides work, I know right it is like I was grounded and seriously who gets grounded at my age beside me. But that was better for me cause it was either that or they tell dad and I know that Dad would make me move back at home and trust me I was not looking for another scolding. So I had to tell them what time I get off work and trust me I was not looking forward to be picked ny any of them.

I love them trust but this is too much, at my age I was still monitored. My brothers only had sons and since I was their since I was their only aunt they treated me like their fathers and trust it is like dealing with a whole military. I dressed for work and went downstairs to join Aiden and Sam for breakfast, thank God today I was going back to my own house.

"Aurora come sit for breakfast." Aiden said when I reached the last step.

"Yes brother." I replied and to take a seat. 

"Brother?" I called.

"Hmm!" He replied.

"I get to go home today right?" I asked.

"You are home!" He replied.

"Aiden I meant my apartment." I said.

"I know but as long as you know the rules princess." He replied.

You see this is the reason why I never wanted to work with them in the same company, they would end up treating me like an egg and won't let me do anything. When I graduated they wanted me to join the family business I said no and when they asked me why I said that I wanted to work from the bottom and reach the top with my own talent and I also wanted to improve myself.

Well after the breakfast Aiden drove me to my work in front of the office and some ladies from the office were just arriving and saw me coming out of the car.

"Hey did you see that, she probably slept with him." One of them said.

"I know right but he is so handsome. Why did he choose a fat ass like her." The other said.

"I know right, we are so much better than her." The first replied.

You know I won't even bother because only bitches like them thinks that every woman wants to sleep with whoever she sees. They normally called them the office sluts, they slept with almost the entire office and now they were gunning to see who gets to sleep with the CEO. 

Guess what? That is what I did, imagine the names they will call me when they find out that I slept with their precious CEO. Not like anyone is ever going to know cause my mouth is sealed.

"Hey Alex!" I greeted her when I reached where she was.

"Bitch I can't believe you." She said with a smile.

"What are you talking about Alex?" I asked in confusion.

"Don't give that look. You know friday you slept with the CEO." She whispered and I covered her mouth before anyone could hear.

"Come with me!" I said and pulled her hand to the bathroom.

When we entered the bathroom I closed the door.

"Seriously do you want everyone to hear you?" I asked and removed my hand from her mouth.

"I seriously can't believe that you slept with Leonardo." She said.

"You and me both. I was so shocked when I woke up that I thought I was going to have a heart attack." I said.

"So what did he say when he woke up." She asked.

"I don't know?" I replied.

"What do you mean that you don't know?" She asked with a confusion written on her face.

"I left before he woke up, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to keep my job any longer." I replied.

"Why would you think that  you would get fired." She asked.

"Maybe cause the last girl who seduced him got fired the same day." 

"So what are you gonna do?" She asked I know she was worried too.

"Well for starters I am going to avoid him and if he ask I will say that I don't know what he is talking about."

"I really hope that everything works in your favour." She replied.

"You won't believe what happened." I said as we came out the bathroom.

"What happened?"

"I got grounded."I said.

"What at this age? I thought your brothers were overbearing, but this takes the cake." She replied even she was shocked.

"So what is your punishment?" She asked looking at me.

"Well for starters I cannot drive myself anymore and Friday straight after work Aiden will pick me up and I'll spend the weekend at his house." I said with a sigh.

"Geez isn't that a bit too much."

"My  thought exactly."

"What do you think will happen when Leonardo recognize you?"She asked me and I really think that I'll be fired for sure.

"Probably fire me! After all I am definitely not his type."

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

"You know that his past girlfriends are really skinny."

"And you are beautifully thick, look at that ass." She said while touching my ass.

"Why did you do that? People will probably think that we are lesbian." I said as soon as I saw people giving us weird looks.

"They can think whatever they want to think. It is not my place to care about their useless thoughts." She said, sometimes we would really make people think that we are dating, beside she is my bestie sowe don't really give a fuck of what they think.

We separated when we had to go to our own offices.

"Good morning Ms. Marino." My secretary greeted.

"Hey Sandra, what is the schedule for today?" I asked her.

She followed me to my office and started to tell my schedule, upon hearing I wanted to bang my head on the desk. Who knew work would be this much on a Monday, now I completely understand why people always hate Monday. I just started and I already feel like going home. On the other hand I am grateful cause at least with this much work I would not even bump into Mr. Russo.

Lunch time came and I texted Alex, we decided to go to lunch together.

"Hey are you ready?" She asked me as I came out of my office.

"Yeah lets go." I said and we walked to the elevator.

She pressed the buton for the elevator to come down, when the door open I almost lost my balance.  Mr. Russo along side his secretary were inside the elevator and I basically had no choice but to enter. We entered and I could feel Alex's eyes on me, I turned to look at her and made an expression of someone dying.

I saw her lips turning into a smile and I could that she was enjoying this way too much, while I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me. 

"Ms. Russo good work on your last project." I heard him say.

"Thank you so much sir." I said.

Altough I was the COO I never interracted more in campony dinners with the executives. When the door opened I couldn't wait to get out and I think I heard him chuckle.

"My goodness look at you, you couldn't wait to run out of there." She said while kaughing.

"I think he knows." I said.

"What makes you think that he knows?" She asked.

"I heard him chuckle now as I ran out." I said and I felt my heart racing at the thought of him knowing.

"I think you are just being paranoid." She said trying to convince me.

"Anyway he didn't say anything so relax and lets go enjoy our lunch." She said upon seeing my face in deep thoughts.

"You're right." I said with the smile and we walked to her car.

We arrived at our favorite restaurant and we walked in, beside the owner of the restaurant was Alex's boyfriend so we always have a table ready. I just gotta say that they sure know how to cook compared to me, I can't even boil water that is how I was spoiled by my brothers.
