Chapter 33: Ultimatum
Ryan looked at Lia and didn’t say anything. He ran his fingers through his hair and swore before turning and exiting the lounging area.
Lia sunk back into the couch, put her head in her hands, and started sobbing.
“Hey, what’s going on?” Bobby asked as he entered the room, followed by Dawn.
“What did that witch do this time?” Dawn demanded.
Lia lifted her face and looked at her sister and friend with tears streaming down her face.
“Why do I tend to always make a mess out of everything?” Lia cried.
“What’s wrong?” Bobby asked and sat next to Lia on the couch while stroking her back.
“Kelly has an audio recording of us from last night at the club,” Lia announced.
Bobby brought his palm to his mouth and gasped. “You mean when we were talking about ----?” he trailed off.
Lia nodded and sobbed.
“How did she get it?” Bobby inquired.
“I don’t know, but I saw her and Tim at the club last night. I think there were there to spy!” Lia said, shrugging.
