“Do you remember when we were kids, we used to take sticks from outside? We would steal mom’s sheets, to try turn our bed into a canopy bed? Look at you now! You are sleeping in real canopy bed fit for royalty!” Dawn smiled as she handed Lia a wet towel.
Lia laughed as she wiped her tear stained, puffy face.
“We were innovative and creative, huh?” she replied, and they both laughed.
Dawn sat down next to Lia on the Alaskan king size bed and looked around.
“Your hubby is rich-rich, hey?” she marveled, and Lia nodded.
“He is rich-rich,” she agreed.
“So, how did you meet? I didn’t even know you were dating someone,” Dawn noted.
“Well, we met in college, actually. Freshman year. He was a senior, and I was just trying to find my footing,” Lia replied as her sister looked at her gesturing for her to continue with a wave of her hand.
