BELLE IS PEEPING THROUGH THE WINDOW
Anne's anxiety grew with every passing minute. The anticipation of the event combined with Richmond's unexplained delay had her on edge. She glanced at her reflection in the window, nervously adjusting her dress, the vibrant colors now dimmed by the shadow of uncertainty that seemed to take root in her mind.
Was Mr Richmond no longer coming to pick her up? Did she do anything wrong that made him suddenly changed his mind about the event? She mused as she paced around the living room.
Belle, perched on the couch with Coco, exchanged concerned glances. Coco, ever straightforward, voiced her disapproval of Richmond's tardiness. "This isn't gentlemanly at all," she remarked, a hint of frustration in her voice. "He shouldn't be making a lady wait like this, even if he is the boss."
