"Why can't you come back? My heart beats only for you. Your sight alone quenches my thirst and hunger. CHAPTER FIFTY-FOUR

CHAPTER FIFTY-FOUR

RAYMOND'S POV

A call disturbed my brainstorming session, as I was driving to work. I was late for work, but I didn't mind. I had checked my book of engagement and found out thrillingly that I had no morning therapy sessions to hold. I decided to use the free time wisely; as I made fruitless attempts to track Roxanne's phone number to know her location. After spending ample time at home trying to track Roxanne's whereabouts, I decided it was time enough for me to go to work. Eager to sniff a whiff of her, I went to the visitor's room where she, as the last visitor, had stayed.

Sniffing the miniature scent left, made matters worse. I became more desperate to find a way to help Roxanne, supposing she was in danger.

The caller kept calling, hence putting my phone in a restless state. Receiving calls while driving was very unsafe, but due to the repeated rings, I gave in.
