Chapter 8
Night had fallen over the expedition's camp. Several new tents had been added to accommodate daytime arrivals. They had a communal dinner and then Kovacs summoned the parents of the boys who were in the camp telling them in a somewhat hermetic way.
“Tonight we are going to have some activities. We´ll meet at ten o'clock at the edge of the clearing.”
As he did not give further explanations, his words generated expectation in the relatives whose elucidation, however, they had to postpone.
At the appointed time the Park Ranger was waiting at the agreed spot and saw several shadows approaching. The three relatives of the missing boys were accompanied by Conrad despite his disbelief.
