The uninterested pair decided that the sick tradition has to end. Their journey will bore holes into their hearts, break their spirits, and deform the way they see the world, no matter what they gain, what they lose, they have each other. Can’t Do Nothing

Days passed after Von's visit, still the twins did not hear their grandmother anything about. they aren't worried they'll be punished, but they felt uneasy over the unspoken visit.

almost awake has also passed and yet, their days seem to be as peaceful as an undisturbed lake waiting for someone to make a wave with a single pebble.

"Olivia!!! I want a rematch! Come, you coward witch." There goes Fedrin, the pebble everyone has been waiting for.

"You lost, I will not waste my time on you. now go away can't you see i am busy." Despite the repeated refusal of Olivia, Fedrin does not know how to take "no" for an answer. The Morriet lady will get sick of it and will fall to his provokation eventually.

After some time, Fedrin's hard work pays off and Olivia throws a punch square in the face.

"Fucking finally." Everyone watching can tell that the punch hurt so much, considering Fedrin reeled back. wiping the non-existent blood off his mouth, Fedrin posed into a stance wielding his sword.

"I will give you the beating of the century, you carbon copy." That struck a nerve on Fedrin, that he didn't even salut or let Olivia pose into a stance before attacking.

to the eyes of none sword user, Olivia is at a disadvantage, because compared to fedrin's claymore, her sword looks miniscule.

"What? Don't like being called a carbon copy, aren't I telling the truth though, look even the weapon, just like your father. A failure as well." Olivia teased, grinning as Fedrin blindly swung the heavy claymore, which the sword lady dodged effortlessly.

Lactiflora and Roosevelt laughed on the sideline, Fedrin was finally getting what he deserved. They actually want to step in earlier, but considering Olivia's pride, she might not appreciate it.

"Dodge birdie, dodge you coward witch." Fedrin's arms are getting tired, which was Olivia's initial plan. Use Fedrin's heavy movements, before striking. The moment she saw the opening on Fedin's stance, she jumped onto the claymore, making the tip part of the claymore drop to the floor and ran to use the hilt of her sword to hit fedrin on the head, knocking him out.

"Wow, that's smart." Lactiflora whispered to Roosevelt, but it reached the Morriet lady's ear shot. Lactiflora smiled, her most genuine smile, to avoid conflicts with Olivia, but the other only whipped her head away with a scoff. "eh, rude."

Soon enough the commotion died down. The footmen present in the activity hall brought Fedrin to the infirmary, and the other's went back to what they were doing, playing around or slacking in the lobby. Lactiflora and Roosevelt on the other hand, are expecting the glaive Sakura picked as a weapon.

"To be honest, I expected you to be a mana user." Roosevelt loosely mentions, still can't believe that he was wrong.

"Oh, but I can manipulate the weather, and–" Sakura didn't managed to continue what he was saying when Roosevelt suddenly covered his mouth.

"Don't say your abilities casually. You'll never know."

"But everyone knows I can do that, after all it is the specialty of my clan." Sakura tried to refute and turned to Lactiflora for help, instead she only shook her head.

"What came into your mind to pick a glaive? Could have been a polearm, look how cool my polearm is." A polearm then materializes on Lactiflora's hand and spinning it a few times before striking a pose.

"My mother has a thunder glaive, it looked cool on her, i thought it would look cool on me too." The younger then shyly fiddles with the hem of his kimono, clearly not expecting anyone to question his choice of weapon.

"Don't worry, I think you would, if you actually do know how to wield it." Unexpectedly, Sakura's eyes brighten, while looking at Roosevelt who then picks the glaive up.

"I do know how, ane, let's spar." Although surprised after being called a Ane, Lactiflora is not someone to stand down in a spar.

"Alright, but dont cry if I hit you too hard."

Everything is going well for Lactiflora, Sakura is good, blocking her attacks well. his stance does not waver with every hit, and there's a good chance that he will land a hit on her. As the fight goes on, Lactiflora notices the changes on Sakura's movements, it's almost as if imitating her's, only with heavier strikes. soon enough, they mirror each other's moves, the other feels conflicted, she would be mad if she is not more impressed that someone can learn the moves quickly.

The fight is getting longer, neither wants to give up and lose, as the older Lactiflora has to think of something. Just as fast as how Sakura learned her forms, Lactiflora created new ones, mostly inspired by Olivia's nimble movements and her Aunt Veronica's aerial strikes. To Sakura, the direction of her hits are getting harder to predict, she could be striking above, to his side or back. soon enough, Lactiflora found an opening, and pointed the tip of her polearm to Sakura's throat.

"Yield, little one."

"I'm only 2 years younger than you." Sakura drops the glaive in his hands and raises them both. He knew the outcome of the fight since he saw it last night in his dreams. Their little standoff was interrupted by clapping, and saw Roosevelt approaching them.

"You two are so good, I really didn't expect Sakura to be so fast, you have to spar with my sister more so she would stop bothering me everytime." The younger sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck and didn't say anything, still unused to the two, throwing compliments like it will never run out.

"I would love to stay here a little longer, but i believe it's time for us to go back, our Dinner will be served soon in our rooms." The youngest deflated, but agreed and went to pack up his things, which was followed by the twins. They were the last few ones inside the activity hall, except for Olivia who's still training her skills, and William who was trying to stop his sister.

The twins and Sakura walked together on their way to their rooms, but eventually has to split since their rooms are located in different directions.

They werent told that they will be studying here as well. Lessons about managing a household, having the etiquette of a host and even matchmaking were taught. It is understandable, since whoever was chosen will become the head right away. They also have lessons about magic, mana and potentia manipulation, History, and potion and spell making. All of it was taught by the butlers, and the footmen of the manor.

some would say their days are going off smoothly, unfortunately for Olivia, she cannot. Turns out, Fedrin is a sore loser, and a petty bastard as well. He makes Olivia's life harder with silly pranks.

At first the pranks are harmless, made just to annoy Olivia, like pouring water on her, hiding her sword and vandalizing it and more petty stuff. Soon the pranks turned lethal, he started putting broken glass on her shoes whenever she left them during her training, or releasing a dangerous insect in her room. She tries to make him stop to no avail, even William has to get involved only to be driven away by his prideful sister. She'd refuse to accept help from the other's as well, and the Bellrose twins decided it's not worth it if she's acting like this. It also didn't help, when the butlers and the servants did not do anything despite seeing the atrocious acts committed by Fedrin.

Fedrin's actions icks the twins endlessly, but their attempts to make him stop was futile, only saying "It's just a prank" or "It won't kill her" when confronted. this made Lactiflora want to throw a punch, but was held back by her brother.

The twins considered Fedrin's latest prank, as 'Went too far.' When he set the tree Olivia was hanging out during her free time. By this time, autumn already turned the leaves brown and the dry leaves are perfect for burning.

Olivia came out alive, but her injuries are severe, burns on her arms, neck and legs, even burning some of her hair. William almost threw up at the horrendous sight of his sister, he cried and begged the doctor to save her, even kneeling on the floor. The severity of her injuries might possibly kill Olivia, the healers does not have the capacity to heal her wounds, even healing a few of them does not help.

Guilt filled Roosevelt and Lactiflora, things shouldn't have reached this if they'd done more. They watch William guard his sister all the time, and it broke Roosevelt's heart to see another brother like him in such a situation.

Fortunately for them, they are very good at managing situations. Lactiflora had thought if someone can share Olivia's injuries, the healers can heal them separately. She knew that someone was already willing to do that for Olivia.

The Morriet young lord sits beside his twin, still unconscious from her injuries. The girl is still unresponsive even after 2 days. He ran tirelessly around to find a way to save his sister, but it's futile. his healing powers are mediocre, and no one else, but Sakura has healing powers. Hes starting to lose hope, but he doesn't want to give up on his sister, he never wants to give her up even after all this time, they only have each other in this world.

"We thought of a way to help Oli." William almost fell off the chair when the bellrose twins appeared behind him, but the surprise was replaced with relief when he realized what Roosevelt had said.

"You do? tell me how, i will do anything, you can even turn me into your slave." William excitedly stood up, whatever he was spouting instantly unnerved the two.

"Alright, no one's turning no one into a slave, and yes we do, but I believe the process might endanger the other participant as well." Lactiflora then gracefully took the seat William was previously sitting on, and turned to look at Olivia's pitiful situation.

"I will take any danger, is there a beast you need me to hunt down or what."

"You will share your sister's injuries." William's mouth gaped, but immediately his expression fills with determination, he's ready to accept any pain for his sister, even if you take his life.

"That's a yes, we will start tomorrow, sleep first, you'll need it, tonight come to our room, i will teach you the spell."

It's exactly 9:00 when William arrived in front of the Bellrose twin's room. He did not expect them to share rooms, he kinda feels jealous, after all he and Olivia used to be as close.

William is a fast learner, Roosevelt praised him for that, when he successfully felt a cut forming on his arm, the same location as where Lactiflora had cut herself. The one on her arm visibly shrunk, and that filled William hope. Roosevelt put his hand on the cuts on Lactiflora and William's arm and immediately healed them.

Truth to be told, William was already fascinated by the Bellrose family since he was younger, but seeing them perform such an amazing feat in front of him immediately turned him into their follower. He secretly cried inside and preached their greatness.

"Well then, rest more, and after breakfast tomorrow we will do it. Sakura will also be helping us." William's heart wanted to leap out of his chest, his prayers were finally answered.

As promised, after breakfast, the Bellrose twins and Sakura followed William into the infirmary where Olivia recuperates. She's as dead to the world just like yesterday, and William can no longer wait.

Roosevelt instructed him to lay next to sister, and drew the necessary enchantment. Lactiflora then pulled out a handkerchief from her pocket and stuffed it in William's, which earned her stares from the two others.

"What???"

"Alright Will, this will hurt so much." Roosevelt then pet William's silver hair to comfort him before they start. As soon as William gave a nod, Roosevelt cast the spell, the enchantment glowed, and despite of the gag, William still managed to let out a muffled scream.

"Was that on purpose."

"The pun? yes."

The the linkage was successful, William lost consciousness from the intense pain, and still whimpering. Its still too early to celebrate, they still need to heal Olivia's and now William's injury. The youngest, Sakura took over healing Olivia, while Roosevelt works on William.

The healing part is going well, but they did not expect Olivia to wake up midway. The older Morriet first processed her surrounding, before turning her head side ways to see his brother's unconscious face. She immediately want to get up but was held down by Lactiflora.

"Dont waste my their efforts." Olivia almost shivered to Lactiflora's cold tone, which was first to her. She tried to calm down and was soon lulled to sleep by the humming of Sakura's magic.

Lactiflora knew that the healing process will be long, but he didnt expect it to be this long. The sun was already setting when Roosevelt and Sakura announced that they were done.

The two looks so tired, Roosevelt walked to his sister to lean on her, while it was Lactiflora who moved closer to catch Sakura's falling form.

"I want my bed." Roosevelt rested his head on Lactiflora's shoulder for support. She holds him up by his waist while Sakura was being carried like a sack on her other shoulder.

She doesn't have to worry about getting lost because of the thin thread of mana Roosevelt left earlie, making the journey back to their room faster. On their way, Lactiflora spotted Lunaria by the garden from the window. She picked up her face so the two can rest more comfortably, and so she can meet up with Lunaria, she suddenly had the urge to talk to her.

Lactiflora then lays Sakura and Roosevelt on his bed and left the room back to the window where she spotted Lunaria. To her relief the older was still there, just watching the statue infront of her as the moon illuminates her surrounding.

Afraid of getting lost, Lactiflora jumps out of the window. When she landed she was certain that Lunaria noticed her, but did not react in any.

"Good evening, my granddaughter, a fine night we have tonight, yes?"

"Good evening, grandma, it is a fine night, may i request a nick of your time tonight?" Lactiflora, trying to be as polite as possible, still thinking if she should use violence to rant on the older.

"Of course, follow me to my office then." Suddenly Lactiflora felt cold, she shouldn't, but she's not turning back now. There are a lot of things she wants to know, this is the only way.

Quietly, Lunaria and Lactiflora walked across the corridors of the manor to Lunaria's office.

Lactiflora decided, this night is going to be a long night.
