Ending At Dawn

The sun begins to fall a little bit beyond the cliff as the two combatants continue to fight tiredly. By this point this fight isn't for the girl, but for the two to settle an old score or at least that's the case for one of them. In the past he wasn't able to keep up with anything new but he's not the old him anymore, these attacks aim to kill and I. LOVE. IT! She smirks as she blows the first spell of the fight till now "Gru-Mada!" she yells as a ball of compressed wind is shot out of her arm

We're usin spells now! The wolf boy thinks, finally pulling out the pair sickles and redirecting the ball towards empty woods, where the ball clears an acre worth of trees. "hmm" he hums before zagging over to the woman and leaping a couple of yards in front of her.

"He's dead." Vantuer whispers to a man with a black goatee, matching his humble but noble like clothes and hairstyle

"No, he'll survive. We should intervene at some point." The noble man says

"At some point." Vantuer replies drawn in by the fight

"At some point" The noble repeats

After bursting another airball the wolf boy is sent flying into a forest untouched by the fight, but not without throwing a sickle towards his enemy's leg and hitting.

"DIRTY MUTT!" she yells in pain with such force she'd sound like she wasn't just in a 8 hour fight

"I'll go and check on the boy. Tell her that her kidnapping my daughter doped her pay." The noble man says

"Yes sir, also. . . Told you so." Vantuar says rubbing his index and middle fingers together against his thumb

"We'll see" The noble man responds in a coy like manner

*Meanwhile*

The wolf boy just barely catches himself by stabbing a tree with his sickle and dislocating his arm in the process. That energy that just went through my arm must've been magic. he thinks dangling by his arm. This body seems to be used to this kind of treatment' He looks around and says "Perfect." I have to find a way down with a dislocated arm, Old habits just don't seem to die huh!?

"I don't think you'll have to wait much longer to get down, someone's coming your way" The goddess says with disappointment in her voice

'Why are You down?'

"I was hoping to get some answers and now I have to wait until later on tonight." She pauses almost like she was eating something. "And I was hoping for the fight to go for longer."

Well excuse me for not knowing how to use Magic. If only I had a teacher to teac-!

"HEY! NEED SOME HELP!?" The noble man asks only to be met with a nod. After getting The wolf boy down The noble man looks at him almost like he was inspecting him "Do you want a job?" he asked. The wolf boy just looks at him and continues to walk. "I could give you anything you'd like, even that white haired friend of yours." The wolf boy stops in his tracks. "Her and the zombie left while you two were fighting. We've been tracking him down for months, but due to recent events we couldn't arrest him on these lands. We apologize."

The wolf boy just turns his head towards him and says "I'll find them, and bring back his head." and continues to walk

"Now, Now. you could join my army and get that done legally. Can't spend time with your friend while you're dead." The noble man says with panic I can't lose the only person who could look after my daughter over that zombie.

"Fine..." he responds with a huff Why are those the words that came out of my mouth? I need any type of help right now, even if it's a trap! WHAT THE FUCK ME!

After they got up the cliff the two only see a purple haired man with black sclera and cloud blue pupils with the orange haired catgirl

"Trusting you to catch me." The wolf boy says looking at the cat girl as he falls tiredly only to be caught by no-one

He did fall rather suddenly. More importantly I just lost a paycheck. Vantuer thinks with surprise as he walks over to pick him up

"I finally got you a P-guard Mindy, please don't lose your temper with this one." The noble says looking at the cat girl tiredly.'I am getting tired of using our resources to just get new corpses.

 Mindy (the orange haired cat girl) just puts her head down "Fine, not like I try to kill them anyway." She says depressed and mumbling that final part. 

"Yeah but they still end up dead, I love you but you kill a lot of people on accident." The Noble responds softly but sternly

*Later That Night*

"Are you awake? Weird I have to ask, but when people dream or have nightmares or anything else that's active when you mortals sleep. I can't have a stable conversation." The goddess asks waking up. The wolf boy's consciousness "New life! New names! Got one or are you keeping your old one? Do you know who the new you will be?"

Were you there for the whole fight? he asks groggily

"Yes. Also you do know your mind's voice doesn't have to be groggily once you wake up, Right?" She says condescendingly but with a hint of tease

You're acting like talking to god came with a tutorial handbook, but yeah I think I did. He says with an audible sigh filled with a history

*12 Years Ago*

A red maple leaf falls on to a pile of raked leaves right beside a bench where Corvus and a average height female

"So in these "Animes" nothing is really consistent? Just like old comics." Corvus says to a female who comes to his chest

"Yes. But unlike old comics the anime shows less than the mangas, so you can read while waiting discreetly. If you really want details." She sighs as she rests her head on his chest. "I can't believe my father kills people for money." to which he responds "And my daughter watches Japanese cartoons. World is wild huh? I guess every Chairman has their closets. How's you and your mom?" His daughter's eyes go dim in the light of the question "Me and mom are still in that distant but close field."

Corvus wraps his arm around her shoulder and pulls her in closer "But other than that? You two still good?"

She looks at a leaf on the ground in front of them as it and the pile next to them gets blown by a sudden huge skirt lifting gust of wind that settles into a passive breeze. The woman follows the leaf.'Fuck I think I lost it. Then looks into her fathers eyes "Yeah. My surgery is next week, I was wondering if you could be there when I go under?"
