Chapter 12: Who's Fenris?

The following weeks the whole pack grieved over the loss of their fallen member. The only thing that they had gotten was Fenris's ripped up leather jacket. Beta and Teren still resided in Fenris's house though his room and piano was never disturbed. For the next few months the two gangs were in a semi peace because of Fenris's action. Soon though rumors started to circulate of a rising star in the Nightwalkers named Sage he had blood red hair and orange eyes as opposed to the vampires red. He could be seen hanging out with a Nightwalker known as Bella and was said to be Damiens new right hand man. He was peculiar though as his skin while pale wasn't as pale as a vampire and he still had a semblance of muscle definition. Though what was also strange was a witch who was known to affiliate with the vampires showed up monthly.

during these days when the witch would show up you could hear screaming from the Nightwalkers lair though they always brushed them off. "Haha let's go baby!" Sage yelled as he shifted into a higher gear easily overtaking the car he was racing. "Damn you!" A fellow Nightwalker said playfully to sage. " haha won again Ryan" Sage said as he got out of the car. "Yeeah yeah" Ryan said before slapping sage on the back " still hurts when your fangs unsheathe? " Ryan asked. Sage nodded " yeah almost seems like my teeth are being pushed out and they're on the bottom and top instead of just the top. " Ryan chuckled nervously " ahh weird dude but don't worry maybe it's cause Damien but you "yeah maybe." Sage said rubbing the bite scar at the base of his throat, though if anyone looked they could see it was more of a wolf's bite.

" Ahh well who cares, now come on we have to get to the coffee shop or Bella's going to lose it. " Ryan said jokingly. " you are late one time for a meeting and it's the end of the world. " Sage said as he got into his car. Turning the key the duo did burn outs before racing off towards the town's local Coffee shop named Arensons. Upon getting there they saw Bella sitting in a booth looking slightly miffed. "Five minutes late really?" She complained as Sage sat down next to her and Ryan sat across. "Ohh calm down." Sage said playfully as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and have her a kiss. Bella huffed but made a small smile leaning into Sage " so what did you get? " she asked as Sage brought out a bag full of drinks and snacks. " uhh Pepsi , and chips. " he said " Pepsi? Why do you always get pespi? " Ryan asked getting a drink anyways.

"Cause it's amazing" Sage answered back as he took a large swig. Bella wrinkled her nose but took a sip " Coke is better " she said as Sage finished his. "So what's the job cats and kittens." Ryan asked as he ate some of the chips Sage had brought . "Uhh I believe Damien said to scare the werewolf chick and the fallen angel that has been hanging around." Sage says as he finishes his own bag of chips. Bella looked at Sage with a bit of worry in her eye at the mention of the werewolf girl. " well let's go! " Ryan says cheerfully and stands up.

Soon they were driving to where the duo had been seen last. Spotting them they stopped and hopped out of their cars. Beta hadnt really changed the past few months besides redying her hair so now all of it was the dark green,Teren looked the same. Upon seeing the two Sage felt something stir inside him but didn't realize what "let's kick their asses!" Ryan yells and attacks. They started to fight though the two showed they could easily hold their own. Pushed back by a punch by Beta Sage growled a wolflike growl and he felt a familiar yet strange pain where his fingernails would be. His black brass knuckles had some blood on them from the fallen angel and Beta looked at Sage as he growled " .....Fenris? " she said softly her eyes widening. "Who's Fenris?" Sage asked before Teren grabbed Beta's hand and flew away.
