There were three people gathered around a brightly lit campfire, its light cutting through the darkness of the night at the edge of the forest near Brinetide Village. It was night, and the darkness was more pronounced than usual, due to the heavy overcast that covered the sky.
"Damn, that boy took so long," said Olic, a man with gray hair tied in a knot, his expression one of excitement.
Then another man glanced at Olic, "Be patient, he said it'll only be a while. Rolio never goes back on his word," explained the man with dark red hair, the most distinctive of the two beside him who had gray hair. He was Captain Markus.
"Captain, should we catch up," Bergie said to Captain Markus, showing his concern.
"Look," Markus replied while pointing his thumb back.
Olic and Bergie, with curiosity, followed the direction pointed by Mark's finger, and they saw Rolio walking towards them, emerging from the darkness of the forest.
