Create New Memories

It took her a while for Ye Qing Xin to finally accept her new identity.

The longer she thought about it, the more she thought that this was great. She had met this everyone in the family, except for her older brother, and saw that they were very loving.

Ye Chun and Ruan Xia seemed like very loving parents. Her little sister was a crybaby, but she seemed to care about her a lot.

Compared to having a family member like Ye Sen, Ye Qing Xin thought that living this life was not quite bad. It's just that, it might need her a while to get used to it.

However, Ye Qing Xin began to worry that the 'force' would return to this life and mess up her life choice.

Thinking about the thing that the force would be able to make her do frightens her. Ye Qing Xin no longer wished to live that kind of life anymore.

The door to the room was pushed open and the sound made Ye Qing Xin turn around.

Her little sister, Ye Qing Luo entered the room while carrying a paper bag. Ye Qing Xin did not have to guess to know that her sister was bringing over some food that the auntie at their home had prepared.

Their gaze met and Ye Qing Luo flashed her a bright smile. "Sister, how are you feeling today?"

"It's alright," Ye Qing Xin answered casually. She looked at her little sister and felt that she did not know how to get along with this person. After all, she had always been an only child. To suddenly obtained a little sister was too strange.

From the corner of her eyes, Ye Qing Xin could see the hint of sadness in her sister's eyes. It was clear that this girl was disappointed that she still had not obtained her memory yet.

Ye Qing Luo took out the insulated box from the paper bag and placed it on the table. "Sister, Auntie Liu made you your favorite food today." She opened the lid and let Ye Qing Xin look into the box. "It's braised ribs. Sister, do you remember that you like them?"

Her eyes lit up. Ye Qing Xin was glad that her preferences in this life Ye Qing Xin had the same taste.

"You should eat first," Ye Qing Luo said. "Mom and Dad went to meet the doctor. I heard that you might be able to leave the hospital today."

Ye Qing Xin paused. For the past few days, she has been living in the hospital because of her injury. She did not expect that she would be going home soon. The thought that she was going to live someone else's life made her feel uncomfortable.

"Sister, you don't have to worry." Ye Qing Luo forced a smile. "I know that you did not remember us yet, but we will do everything that we can to help you remember."

"What if I don't remember anything at all forever?" Ye Qing Xin stared at her sister, wanting to look at her expression.

The smile on Ye Qing Luo's face froze. There was a long silence between them before Ye Qing Luo finally spoke again, "It's alright. Whatever happens, we are all family. Even if you don't remember the thing in the past, we can still create new memories with you."

Ye Qing Xin lowered her head and continued to eat her meal.

The Ye family in this world was too warm and it might take her a while to get used to it. But after living a cold life with Ye Sen, Ye Qing Xin was beginning to look forward to this life with this family.

Just as she had finished her meal, her parents walked into the room with the young doctor tagging along with them.

They already figured out about her amnesia and that there was nothing else that they could do other than wait for her to slowly remember everything.

However, the injury around her body was something that they still have to look at.

Other than hurting her head from that car accident, there were also too many injuries around her body. The window broke and the glass penetrated deep into her skin. She sprained her neck and will have to wear a soft collar. Fortunately, she did not break her bones.

After the check-up, it was decided that she could leave the hospital. However, Ye Qing Xin will have to go back to the hospital for a regular check-up.

The news made both her parents relieved.

She has been staying at the hospital for two weeks and her parents hoped that she would be able to heal faster under their care.

Within a short time, her mother and little sister had packed up her belongings and the family headed back to the home where she had lived for years.

As the vehicle entered the residence area, Ye Qing Xin raised her head to look at the house. Surprisingly, the Ye residence was quite big. They were living in a mansion!

It was a three-story mansion with a large garden. The flowers were blooming beautifully and there were a few fruit trees around.

A guard was stationed at the main gate and it seemed that there were quite a few workers around the house.

Ye Qing Xin realized that her family was quite rich!

Although her mother and sister were both dressed elegantly, Ye Qing Xin had never given any thought to this. Moreover, her sister had not said a word about their family fortune.

Ye Qing Xin was aware that her family members were observing her reaction. However, no matter how long she stared at this mansion, Ye Qing Xin could not remember anything.

"Xin Xin," Ruan Xia called her name while looking at her with worry. "Did you remember our house?"

There was a hint of hopefulness in her eyes. Ruan Xia was hoping that Ye Qing Xin would remember something once she saw the place she often return to in the past.

Ye Qing Xin looked at her mother. Her heart was telling her that she should not make her mother disappointed. However, Ye Qing Xin did not want to give them any false hope. Especially when everyone was very nice to her.

She lowered her head to avoid her family's gazes and spoke, "No. I still did not remember anything."
