Chapter eight

Alex sighed. "Please, I'm not in the mood for this discussion right now, maybe we could talk about this tomorrow over a cup of coffee." He said and walked into his room.

Valerie seethed in anger as she watched Alex shut the door against her, her gaze went to Sophia's room, and she thought of going in to give her a piece of her mind, on a second thought, she knew it wasn't necessary.

"I guess I'll let you off the hook this time Sophia... Next time, I won't be so generous." She said in her mind and walked away.

Sophia, on the other hand, lay on her king-sized bed, excitement washing over her. Although it was just a contract marriage, she still felt like the wife of a billionaire.

"Who could have thought today would end like this." She said to herself. "A feeble slave, turning into a billionaire's wife overnight

Sophia couldn't contain her joy. What pleased her most was the freedom, and revenge she would get because of the contract marriage.
