Devil's Lucky Day

Isadora had now already arrived in the city. She had veiled her face and blended in with the people who were making their way into the city making it hard for her to be recognized. All she wanted for now was to find a place where she would change her dress and slip into that maiden attire. The dress she wore raised some attention and she could feel the prying eyes settle on her as she walked through the unfamiliar streets and alleys. A desolate place was what she was looking for.

Taking a corner by a more ominous alley, Isadora's heartbeat accelerated as she walked down the path. And though it was still daytime, the area seemed gloomy casting fear into her heart. And for some odd reason, she felt as if she was being watched and followed. She quickened her pace now and threw furtive glances behind before she caught sight of two men walking closely behind her. They wore smug looks and she could tell by just one look they were not good people.
