Chapter 204: Joining

The doors of the conference room opened, and Charles entered with his secretary, Ginny, and John Wick.

Tony Stark saw Charles and immediately stood up from his seat, walking over to Charles and giving him a hug. He then laughed, "Hey, old buddy!" 

Charles also smiled and replied, "Tony, long time no see."

Tony led Charles to a seat beside him. When the other shareholders saw this, they frowned slightly.

They had investigated the new shareholder, Charles Doyle, but apart from knowing his name, they had no other information. Seeing that the newcomer was friends with Tony Stark, they realized that this shareholders' meeting was not simple.

Iruka pondered for a moment and asked, "Will Victor's memories, spanning over a thousand years, have any impact on you?"

Looking at Iruka, Selene lowered her head and said, "His memories are coherent, with a sense of time. They won't have any effect on me. These memories are like files in a computer. I can search for specific segments when needed. Obtaining someone else's memories won't turn me into another person."

Satisfied with Selene's response, Iruka nodded.

Watching Selene and Michael in the room, Iruka thought for a moment before speaking, "Our organization is preparing to absorb both of you and make you one of us. Furthermore, we plan to eliminate the vampires here, including the remaining elder, Marcus."

Upon hearing Iruka's words, Michael looked at Selene and then volunteered, "I'm willing to join you, but I don't know much about the organization and what I need to do. Before these changes occurred, I was a surgeon."

Lying on the bed, Selene took the initiative to speak, "I'm willing to join!"

Selene knew that she had no choice. It was either join or await death. After all, the words about eliminating vampires were practically a death sentence.

Naruto, upon hearing that the two would join, exclaimed, "We've got two more partners!"

Satisfied with the straightforward answers from the two, Iruka nodded and then said, "We are under the command of Lord Charles Doyle. When you join, you'll need to swear allegiance to Lord Charles in New York."

Iruka then briefly explained Lord Charles's sphere of influence and his identity.

After listening to the explanation, Selene asked with some confusion, "We've looked into the High Table, and their influence is not even comparable to the vampires..."

To Selene's question, Iruka smiled and said, "This is just a role we play. We haven't integrated the entire High Table because it's unnecessary. Having a seat for an elder is already enough for us."

"What do you need us to do?"

Iruka looked at the two and said, "We need your ability to gain memories through blood, to help us with certain tasks." 

"And we will enhance your strength, making you immune to sunlight and improving your overall abilities." 

"But before that, we need you to provide information on the vampire's power distribution and cooperate with us to first break into the vampire castle in London."

Selene looked at everyone in the room and said, "My family was killed by vampires. Over the years, I've done many wrong things. I want to kill them and avenge my family!"

"There are three elder vampires, Amelia, Victor, and Marcus. You've already killed the first two, but in terms of strength, Amelia and Viktor combined are no match for Marcus."

Hearing that the two, combined, were no match for Marcus, Iruka and the others showed no concern. In fact, Sasuke's eyes even held a hint of interest.

Seeing that there was no change in their expressions, Selene continued, "There are many vampires, widely distributed." 

"Apart from Viktor and Marcus' resting places, there are many other strongholds, mainly divided into three major branches: the Northern Branch, Western Branch, and Eastern Branch. The largest one is the Eastern Branch, and the headquarters of the Vampire Council is established there."

Selene explained all the information she knew about the vampire territories and history.
