The Ark Of The Spell Of The Prince

The slash was enough to cause the entire place to quake, and the golden light annihilated those unfortunate enough to be at the indent. But Raiyen wasn't done yet as the silver dagger by his side started shaking violently.

"Darkness seeps into the air; despair fills the land. Let there be pain; let there be no joy. Hell Bent!" shouted the Time Mage as he took out his silver dagger to slash the area below, causing another indent that ran through the initial one.

With a large 'X' created, Raiyen leaped back onto the ground. Everyone next to the X was gone when he touched the floor. Not even their ashes remained, as the light from the spell had wiped everything and everyone out.

Tomoe could not believe his eyes as he witnessed the Time Mage standing in a now barren land. Nothing remained, not even a tree... The Kitsune shook his head. This isn't the time to get distracted because another wave is coming!

Gripping his blade, Tomoe prepared to unleash his Final Sun but was halted by his Master. The fox felt fear as Raiyen approached the Southern area while gradually summoning more Elemental Energy. Bolts of Lightning, the leaves of the tree from the nearby forest...

The Time Mage extended his palm as if he were holding something. While forcing Tomoe to appear behind him, Raiyen began chanting once more.

He knew that someone in that massive crowd was not messing around and could kill them if he didn't make the first move.

"Play in the dark, Fight in the war. This will leave a mark, And it won't go anymore. The Mages have done, and Power has been used. This war has begun. This spell has fused. Invoke the wise, Seek the old. The power of sunrise. The danger to behold."

The area around the Time Mage started to shake as it gathered streams of blue, green, and purple Elemental Energy, which concentrated into an oval-shaped object in his open palms. The Kitsune's ears flinched as he heard something cutting through the crowd.

Without another thought to spare, Tomoe curved away from his direction and dived towards his Master. Holding his sword above his shoulder, the fox leaped towards the incoming forces, aiming for Raiyen's head.

"Third Sun; Turbulent Embers!" cried Tomoe as he unleashed two consecutive horizontal arcing slashes around himself to decapitate the enemies.

"Hurry it up; I'm waiting for you! Twelfth and Second Sun, merge!" shouted the Kitsune as he changed his sword's grip.

Tomoe first contorted his wrist with his blade horizontally, creating a circle of flames before him. Right after, he quickly made a downward vertical slash, leading into a horizontal slash right later.

"Halcyon Azure, Sunrise Dome!" finished the Kitsune.

The result was a magnificent display of red with blue hue flames forming a shield while it exploded forward, burning the crowd in front into embers. The stance should've been impossible...

No, merging two stages of an Original Spell should not be possible unless the Mage has the battle capabilities of a Gladiator from Valokia. Yet... The Kitsune was pulling it off like it was another Tuesday evening.

Raiyen shook his head; he hadn't got any time left to lose! He has to finish this one spell...

"Master the Peace. Master the Sacrifice. Master the Time. Master the Energy. With both hands, I bear this mastery and ability. Merge these two: Execution and dexterity. This is the symbol of my Ark... I offer thee... Eternal Unity Spark!" roared the Prince of the Arks.

A mirage with the symbol of the Vigilante Ark blossomed in front of Raiyen, made out of shining blue lines. Tomoe peeked behind to see what his Master was up to before smirking.

"Never thought you'd use it again after going through with it in the battle against the Umbras... You've run out of options?" asked the Kitsune mockingly.

"Can it, oversized puppy. Besides, I was never at the battle... I was out doing something else. And this is the first time wielding this oversized dagger," replied Raiyen as he clenched his fists, revealing the weapon of the Vigilante.

Tomoe widened his eyes as he realized that his Master was a Time Mage, which meant the version that helped the Arks during the war against 'Tiamat' wasn't this version of Raiyen...

Meanwhile, the Time Mage was busy marveling at this cross-breed weapon of a knuckleduster and dagger. The gold-colored handle was lightning bolt-shaped, allowing the Time Mage to grasp well.

A Peace Lily, white as snow, posed as the handle's guard. The blade was curved and tinted with purple. The spikes near the handle were orange. On the blade's edge was a design of part of a clock. The Time Mage was still trying to figure out the weight when...
