The Ark Of First And Fourth Sin

Meanwhile, as Wald was fighting Fafnir in his head while also trying to get himself to wake up, the battlefield was getting intense as Raiyen and Phanm feared the worst. Without knowing the situation, both had thought Wald had fallen.

The black cloud dispersed, causing a considerable shockwave to blanket the battlefield. As the purple flame head stood firm, the power he emitted was far more potent than Scarlet's. Phanm sprinted towards his buddy but froze as he got a better look at his new look.

Wald's eyes and hair color remained unchanged, but his hair was longer. The Mage's lips, and fingernails were black while also sprouting dragon-like horns and a giant, scaly tail of the same color. But what made Phanm worry the most was Wald's lack of expression.

Raiyen wasted no time as he glitched back to Scarlet to plunge one of his twin daggers into the woman's abdomen and turn to launch an attack on the now Corrupted Wald. As the TIme Mage tried to slice Wald with his fans, Raiyen was forced backward.

Crap... Not only has he changed, but now he has enhanced defense?! This is not good, thought Raiyen as he backed up in fear. He then shook his head and focused. This isn't the time to freak out!

"Phanm! Get out of here now! Wald's lost all reason!" shouted the Time Mage as he used Heaven Sent and Hell Bent on the Corrupted flame head.

That was when Raiyen got a better look at Wald's transformation... Particularly his purple flame shimmering and hovering between both purple and black colors. Another Corrupted One has entered the field... Raiyen quickly sent out a message for help to the Arks.

"Fourth Sin; Chaos Bloodspiller, Satan!" shouted Wald with a raspy voice as he crouched down and unleashed a horizontal slash of black and purple Elemental Energy at Raiyen's legs.

As Wald did the attack, the Time Mage glitched out of the way, forcing the purple flame head to dash through the battlefield. Unfortunately, the position was unfavorable for Phanm, who was trying to escape. The reason was that Wald was now standing next to Phanm.

"First Sin; Miasma Flood of Belphegor," said Wald as he thrust his axe towards Phanm's face with force akin to a gun firing.

The trained combatant instantly blocked the attack with his sniper rifle, clashing with his friend's weapon. Sparks flew as the metal against metal was trying to break each other.

"Wald... Snap out of it, man!" shouted Phanm as he tried his best not to let Wald win the clash.

Suddenly, Wald stopped placing pressure on the gun and retracted his axe and spell, stepping backward. Thinking that Wald could hear him, Phanm stepped forward, only to have Wald deliver a kick to his commander, who still had his rifle up.

Phanm was flung backward with sheer speeds that no human could comprehend until Raiyen stepped in to catch him midair.

"Sorry to say this, but your pal is beyond reason. The only thing we can do now is to kill him before he slaughters us and the humans around here," instructed Raiyen as he sharpened his daggers.

"You underestimate him... Wald's still fighting the enemy, whatever it is! And he will win!" protested Phanm, gripping his rifle tightly.

"You humans are too hopeful for your own good..."

"Then who else will hope?! Wald's the only person I've left who's akin to family! I can't and will not lose him!" shouted Phanm, furious that some Mage was telling him off.

The commander then proceeded to load his rifle to shoot at Scarlet, who had been wounded earlier and was now trying to attack again. However, when Phanm shot a round, the gun took a long time to fire the bullet. When it did, the shell was so slow that a human could catch it.

Scarlet quickly destroyed it with her whip and laughed, leaving both males confused about what had happened.

"My eyes ain't the best, but I'm sure you've seen what just happened..." noted Phanm, glancing at the Time Mage.

Before they knew it, Scarlet lunged towards Phanm, trying to strangle the poor kid. But Phanm wasn't having any of it as he raised his rifle high above his head and slammed it down onto the raging Pyromancer, cracking her skull.

Scarlet lay face-down on the ground as Phanm crushed her neck by stepping on it with his boots.

"I didn't know you had it in you to do such a morbid thing..." commented Raiyen, fidgeting at the sound of Scarlet's neck shattering into a million pieces.

"Have you seen how Wald handles rabbit for dinner? After you've seen that, you tell me about morbid things. But as I've mentioned earlier, what was up with my gun?" quizzed Phanm worriedly.
