Arleen chanted something, and suddenly her eyes started shining brightly.

She locked eyes with Leus, narrowed her eyes for a moment, then her eyes opened widely

"I - I can't see your aura"

Leus then remembered

"Oh .. right, my Darkness Abstract is active, it hides my aura"

Leus deactivated the Abstract, which luckily didn't bring any attention this time.

No one around was strong enough to notice the change other than Felix, Blaze, and Arleen now that she was using the spell.

Suddenly, Leus' Aura bloomed in front of her, and her eyes opened even wider.

'His aura ... it's brighter than his Father's ... yet he's a Realm below him!'

Her eyes quickly darted between Blaze and Leus, and it was really obvious what she was doing.

Blaze smiled bitterly, while Felix just scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment.

From under the table, Felix poked Arleen without anyone else noticing, which brought her back to her senses.

Her face immediately turned red

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do that, it just happened automatically"

Blaze politely replied

"Don't worry about it, so what do you think of Leus?"

Viorica, Amethyst, and Merlin didn't really understand what was going on, but they had been prepared for such situations since yesterday.

'If you don't understand something, then don't talk about it and wait until the topic changes.'

That's what Viorica taught them both, along with many other etiquette rules.

Arleen was at a loss for words

"His aura really exceeded all of my expectations ... I mean, Felix told me a lot already, but seeing it in person is just something else, it's fascinating."

Leus asked with a slightly interested tone

"Is it my turn now? I want to check something"

Arleen nodded with a smile, and Leus activated Advanced Mana Vision

Leus didn't want to see her aura or the quality of her mana, instead

'Life Force, how does a baby's Life Force look like? Can I see it?'

The quality of Arleen's Mana was average or slightly above compared to other Mages, but Leus didn't care about that, instead, he focused on her stomach.

At the beginning, he didn't notice anything, but after focusing for a bit

'I can see it ... it's so faint'

He could see a tiny spot, of a very dim Light Force

'It's beautiful'

To see two different Life Forces inside a single body was something unique, at least for Leus, it was the first time seeing something like that.

'I think there are many months left for her pregnancy, it's too faint to be even a Mortal'

After looking at it for a while, Leus was satisfied with his findings and deactivated the spell.

'Honestly, I can't think of any practical use for that, but I find it interesting'

Leus was excited to know more about anything magic-related, it still felt new to him.

'Maybe, after I become powerful enough, I'll dedicate my life to studying Magic.'

There were many questions Leus wanted to know the answers for

'But power comes first, there's no point in the entire world's existence, let alone its magic, if I can't protect my loved ones and myself.'

Leus' conviction was resolute

'Power is of utmost importance'

And not the average, Blaze-like or the above average, Felix-like

'No, the supreme power, Arno-like, and if there is a chance, then Ignatius-like.'

But Leus didn't have much hope of evolving beyond Elite

'6 years passed and I'm still in the Third Realm, reaching the Fifth probably isn't impossible, but can I do it before I face a bottleneck?'

Leus knew that

'According to Sal, only children don't face bottlenecks'

But who exactly are children?

'Are they humans under a certain age? Or is it anyone before hitting their growth spurt?'

So to be on the safe side

'I just assume it's anyone below 13. I believe 13 is the unlucky number, once I hit 13 I'll likely start having bottlenecks'

6-7 years were long, but was it enough?

'I have no idea'

Leus didn't think highly of himself

'I didn't really do anything unique or special, I was mostly helped by those around me.'

And there was always an elephant in the room for him

'Arno, the second strongest person in the entire city, can't overcome his bottleneck, I certainly won't be better than Arno, right?'

Leus just had a gut feeling

'Once I face a bottleneck there's a very high possibility that I'll be stuck'

That's why

'I want to become at least as strong as Arno before 13'

While Leus was busy thinking about different matters, the two families began chatting casually, random things came up, like Merlin's desire to be a knight, Amethyst's disinterest in magic, the possible future names for Arleen and Felix's baby, and so on.

Leus was quiet most of the time.

Occasionally, he was asked some things to which he replied, but overall

'I'm not really interested in talking much'

About 15 minutes passed since both the families sat, then a red-haired waitress came to the table and said

"I hope all of you are enjoying your time, are you ready for food?"

Felix looked at Blaze who nodded, and then Felix replied to the waitress

"Yes, please"

The waitress politely bowed

"Understood"

About 5 minutes later, two male waiters came, each holding a tray with three large plates on it.

The waiters placed a plate in front of everyone except Leus

Each plate had a finely chopped, boiled red lobster, surrounded by shrimp and tuna pieces, and had black Caviar on top of it.

Each plate had a spoon, a fork, and a knife on it.

The food looked amazing and it smelled appetizing.

Before Felix could ask the waiters why they brought only six plates instead of seven, one of the waiters looked at Leus and spoke

"Please, wait for a minute, Young Master, your plate is coming"

Leus looked at him for two seconds then wordlessly nodded

'What the heck? Young Master? Even the waiters? Really?'
