The answer took Leus by surprise

"Me?"

Ignatius nodded

"Yes, you ...

You are the first S Tier individual in a realm above the second, I don't think there's anyone else like you in the entire Kingdom ...

Leus replied with what he genuinely believed

"I think you're overestimating me, Duke"

Ignatius shook his head

"You don't know of the true extent of your power, Leus.

Let me put some sense in your head, you can silently cast all the common elements, right?"

"Yes"

"You're an S-Tier Mage, so once you evolve, you'll become an A-Tier Elite Mage.

An A-Tier Elite Mage that can silently cast all the seven common elements!

On top of that, you have an Affinity for at least one of the uncommon elements, Vapour, which makes it eight elements.

Most Elites can silently cast only one or hardly two elements, while you'll be able to cast 8!"

Ignatius took a deep breath

"To put that into perspective, Leus, once you evolve, you'll be one of the strongest 0.001% people in the Continent.

The top 0.001% out of more than one and a half BILLION people, do you realize how huge that is?"

Leus wasn't really convinced

"When you put it that way, I look so grand, but the reality is different.

First of all, I'm not Elite yet.

Second, it doesn't matter how many Elements I can cast because some elements are of no use at all.

For example, Ice, There's nothing Ice can do that Earth can't, its Abstract is of almost no use as well. So the number of elements is hardly relevant."

Ignatius sighed

'Well, maybe it's for the best that he undervalues himself, at least that way he won't become complacent'

After thinking of that, Ignatius said

"Let's have this conversation again after you're Elite, what do you want to do now?"

Leus nodded

"For now I want to work hard on becoming an Elite in the next few months, then after I evolve, we will see what I'll become."

'Few months? This guy surely is ambitious'

But Ignatius didn't comment on that matter and moved on

He looked at Leus' hair and asked

"You think that you have an Affinity for Vapour, right?"

Leus confirmed

"Yeah, I think it's for Vapour, an element that's a mix of Fire and Water"

Ignatius pointed at the black strands in Leus' hair

"If we say that the pink or the purple hair refers to Vapour, what does this black one refer to? Do you have any idea?"

Leus shook his head

"I don't know, it's not Darkness and I don't know what else it is"

"Fine, then let's test it"

Ignatius looked at Sebastian and said

"Bring the Uncommon Spells Tome"

Sebastian went to the side of the room where multiple shelves were, and from there he brought a thick book and gave it to Ignatius.

Ignatius opened the tome and said to Leus

"Extend your hand forward"

Leus did as he was told

"If you feel attuned with any element, tell me"

Then Ignatius began chanting spells one by one

First, a dense, dark brown cloud of Mana materialized on Leus' hand.

Ignatius explained

"Metal, not common here but common in the east of the world"

Leus shook his head

"No"

The dark brown cloud disappeared and a bright brown appeared instead

"Nature, also known as wood"

"No"

The cloud disappeared and a bluish-white one appeared.

This cloud made Leus feel a buzz for a second

"Lightning"

"No"

A dark green cloud appeared

"Acid"

"No"

A dark purple cloud appeared

"Aura Magic"

"No"

A whiteish cloud appeared

"Bone Magic"

"No"

An orangish cloud appeared

"Friction Magic"

"No"

A transparent cloud appeared

"Gravity Magic"

"No"

A dark orange cloud appeared

"Hypnotic Magic"

"No"

Another transparent cloud appeared

"Mind Magic"

"No"

Ignatius sighed, and then 3 clouds appeared back to back; The first and last clouds were transparent and the middle one was dark blue.

"Voice, Poison and Spirit Magic"

Leus shook his head again

"No"

Ignatius closed the tome

"I don't know what element it is, perhaps it's something so rare, or something that I don't have access to."

Leus was confused by the whole ordeal

"There are many more types of magic than I expected"

"Hmm? That's not even close to all, there are countless more, like Summoning Magic, I just don't have access to everything, and we aren't aware of everything nor do we have people with an affinity for such unique elements to help us in studying them."

Ignatius pushed the tome to the side

"Anyway, How about this?"

Ignatius chanted something, and then a white cloud flowed on top of Leus' hand, and as soon as it appeared, Leus felt incredible familiarity, closeness, and understanding of it.

"Yes! I feel it, I'm attuned with this"

Ignatius nodded

"As you expected, it's Gas, Vapour is a variation of it, or both mean the same thing, anyway, that doesn't matter.

We'll need to focus on this element since we don't know the other one."

Leus asked excitedly

"Do you know of Vapour spells?"

Ignatius shook his head

"No, but I can create one"

He already knew that Ignatius created an Abstract, so creating a spell should be easier, what surprised him wasn't that, it was something else

"Once I unlocked World Resonance, I became attuned with the world itself.

Everything is made of mana, and I have a great fundamental understanding of mana and how it functions, I also have countless books to help me.

I can easily create a simple spell of any element, pretty much any Royal could do this, but it isn't something productive;

For example, if I create a Lightning attack right now,

1- I won't be able to silently cast it, I'd have to chant it which would take more time.

2- Because I'm not attuned with Lightning it'd consume more Mana.

3- Regardless of how good the attack is and how much mana it consumes, It'd never be more powerful than my Fire attacks and Skills.

But regardless, researchers keep creating more spells and they discover new types of Magic every decade or two"

Ignatius then turned to Sebastian and said

"Creating a Vapour spell would take a while, how about you show Leus around until I'm done?"
