The confrontation
''What are you talking about?'' Rebecca smirked before leaving the confused Mo beiyong alone in her chambers. She actually like Mo beiyong but she was considering her future, if she marries him and doesn't become the Empress then she would have to be submissive to either a cruel Empress or loving one but that is for the future to tell.

Rebecca's day to leave the Church fianally arrived, as she was entering the carriage with Sofia behind her, a Imperial Knight came running towards them. ''Miss, my mistress Princess Li Hua request an audience with you.''

Rebecca nodded before sitting down and ordered the carriage to leave, instead of going straight to the manor they arrived at the Imperial palace. Luckily Sofia stayed in the Imperial palace till Salvador was able to build their own manor so they both came down from the carriage and went their separate ways.

Rebecca wondered why the Princess called her suddenly but dismissed the thoughts, to what she was hearing they say that the princess is a naive and kind sweetheart who is adored by the brothers and parents.

They got to the princess courtyard, it was named the plum blossom courtyard since plum blossoms used to grow there all the time. Rebecca waited in the parlour for the princess, thirty minutes later the princess arrived in a simple but elegant purple dress. Her face was sharp and her eyes were as clear as glass and the red dot between her eyebrows made her even more beautiful. --------------
She sat down in a comfy chair before Rebecca spoke, ''So your highness, what do you want from jiejie?'' Li Hua clasped her hands before replying, ''Jiejie just call me Wenwen and tell second Aunt that I'm sorry for not visiting her after the wedding.''

Rebecca nodded in acknowledgement to her request before she said, ''Wenwen heard that Jiejie is close to General Beiyong....is it true?'' Rebecca laughed, ''I guess he treats me like a friend.'' Li Hua face bloomed like a little child receiving sweets for the first time when she heard it.

'So you don't mind staying away from him right.'' She said in a slightly scary voice but Rebecca didn't flinch but silently sipped her tea. After two minutes Rebecca spoke, ''It's a request I can't do, you see Jiejie likes General Mo so I really have to decline your request.''

Li Hua's face darkened when she heard it, she also liked General Mo and wanted to become his consort but couldn't ask her dad for a marriage decree since he doesn't listen to the Emperor when it comes to marriage.

''Well Wenwen is warning you for the last time, stay away from General Mo.'' Li Hua ordered a maid to escourt Rebecca to the Imperial gates but before she left Li Hua said something creepy, ''Be careful on your way.''

Rebecca flicked her sleeves and turned to leave, she hadn't been to the palace frequently so she didn't know that the maid was leading her in the wrong direction. As they were close to a building the maid suddenly fell down as her leg was bleeding, ''This servant hopes that your highness isn't angry, the Imperial gates isn't far from here.'' Rebecca replied with a ''En.''

As the maid was distracting her, Rebecca was pulled off the ground and into the air by a muscular man. He held her by her neck preventing her from breathing, ''Oh my such a pretty face... to bad you have to die.'' With that she was thrown to the ground with a thud sound.

As he was coming closer with a knife, a voice suddenly yelled from behind. ''What are you doing.'' He came closer and turns out it was Luther with a dark face, he brought his hand to the ground and a green light burst out. Vines slowly came out from the ground and trapped the man, Rebecca stood up and said, ''Leave, I will do the rest.'' Rebecca with a touch made the man slowly decay from his legs down to the head.
