"Looks like you indeed have some idea about it." Axel snorted looking at Max's reaction. If this guy still said that had no idea, then Axel was going to take his gun out and shoot him right now.

As for how he got Axel's number, he had no idea, but knowing how he knew Max and Eren, it wasn't a surprise that he could reach him.
Axel obviously tried to call him. But, the jerk seemed to have blocked him. The meaning was obvious, 'I will contact you at my convenience'.
Max looked at Axel and opened his mouth. But, he didn't have any idea where to begin and what to say. He honestly hadn't thought that he was going to be pulled in between the two brothers like this. It was their matter, why in hell did they have to bring him in like this.
"I was the one who made him visit you. Didn't he tell you about it?" Max decided to go with something which would soothe the situation.
