Complications
"What is it? Are you feeling unwell?" she asked, and this time she sounded very worried.
"I feel wet," I replied softly because I couldn't find the right words.
The nurse immediately had a look of concern on her face, and I knew that she understood what I was referring to. Without wasting any time, she knelt down in front of me and began lifting the hem of my dress. I felt my heart sinking as soon as she checked on my release. The way that all color seemed to drain from her face told me that it was not good. She brought up her mobile phone to the side of her face immediately.
"Doctor, you have to come right away. There are signs of spotting," the nurse reported with a clear sense of urgency. After disconnecting the call, she turned her attention back to me.
"Remain calm and take deep breaths; we must hurry back to your room now. The doctor will see you there," the nurse informed me matter-of-factly.
