Stella had never boarded a private plane before. She was glad to have Dana there to subtly show her what to do. Where to sit. How to act casual about it all.
Clearly Dana had been on board the Orloff family jet any number of times. As had Bennett and his brother, Aiden.
“Did you locate Monica?” Dana asked. A crispness to her voice reminded everyone listening how much Dana did not like the woman shifter who’d tried to hold a false claim on Bennett’s mating for life rights.
“Why are we worried about Monica?” Aiden asked. He didn’t like the shifter either. She was bossy and mean. All she ever cared about was herself. Even when she and Bennett were spending so much time together, it was clear to him she’d treated his brother more like an accessory than a life partner. He was glad to be rid of her.
