"so you and my mom were in there for a long time" she said and an awkward silence approached, she stood up and started walking towards me, "I didn't hear anything since that was the only room sound proof from werewolf hearing, but it just makes me even more Curious" she smirked as she locked the door behind me.

Carol POV

Oh what do I do, should I run and lock myself in the bathroom, or do I tell her the truth, but Victoria said not to.

"would you stop it Carol, I can smell the fear from here, were best friends right?" she asked me with suspicion,

"o- of course we- we are, for life" I said trying my best not to stutter,

"well then tell me, I must know" she kept asking me as I slide to the left and went towards my bed, she then turned and looked down and walked slowly and sat next to me on the side,

"it's about the Alpha king right?" she said still looking down, I nodded as she lifted her head up,

"on the day we came here I heard my uncle and the witch talk about how the Alpha king is searching for me, I still don't know why, which is why I am asking you what they told, anything will help" she asked me shedding a tear as she leaned and rested her head on my shoulder.

I then tolled her everything, she got up and started to walk around, she was in a deep thought until she turned towards me and asked

"so he needs me to heal him or else he would die but it also requires me using love from my heart, but we both know I have never had a crush or a feeling for anything" I nodded agreeing with her as I spoke

"that's why they want to keep you here or at least surrounded by your pack, so he doesn't try to take you" there was a moment of silence.

she turned to me and held my hands in hers saying

"I know you could get into trouble but I need to confront my mom and uncle that way we know what to do if something ever happen to me or you, please"

I took a deep breath and said yes, she and me went downstairs and called our parents to the study, we tolled them everything we knew and they were really mad at me for telling Selena but relived at the same time,

"well, now that you know, I guess we start training you'll how to fight" my uncle said with happiness in his eyes, it was night time and we need to sleep since we had a meeting the next morning we all went upstairs to our rooms, I tried to sleep but nothing worked, so I got up and went to Selena's room,

"hey you up?" I asked softly opening the door,

"well I am now" she replied lifting her head, "cant sleep huh" she asked as I came to her bed and slept next to her, she was hugging me like a pillow, we were talking about life and guys.

"what is it like to be in wolf form?" I asked hoping she would reply,

she sat up and bended her knees hugging it saying

"it's like being free, but I felt something my mom said I wouldn't feel. lonely, for once I wanted to love someone, hug someone, tell someone I will love them till the day I die" I got up and hugged her tight,

"if you need someone to hug I am still here" I said still hugging her, she looked at me and then out the window,

"its not like that, I could feel someone else's emotions apart from mine, he was lonely like me, all he wanted was to feel loved, he also had a dark soul but it didn't matter to me as I could feel him right through his dark soul." I could see Selena feeling sad as she told me the feeling, we then went to sleep.

Jacob's POV

I got up in the evening looking at my phone, Sam had called me 5 times I guess I was in deep sleep, I went outside and 10 of my men were near the door as Sam was talking to them,

"what's going on?" I asked walking to them while putting on my shirt,

"good evening my Alpha, I got the helicopter ready for your journey" Sam replied bowing his head, "why the helicopter?" I asked, "well I thought you should take the time to recover somewhere safe and quiet" he said, I looked at him, he reeked the smell of fear and sadness, so for his sake I got ready and we took off for the island.

when we reached there the entire pack was there to greet me, "your people love you Jacob" said Sam as he looked at me, he knew the only thing that made me calm was seeing my people happy.

we got down and everyone bowed welcoming me home.

People always asked me what is home, when all I do is work, well this is my answer, but I knew what I was missing, it's her, the witch was right, I cant live without her and I am sure she feels the same for me. one day we will meet and I will never let her go.

THE NEXT MORNING

Selena's POV

I woke up early I saw Carol was still asleep I had a bath and went downstairs for breakfast, it was 9.00 in the morning, after I had my breakfast I went to wake up Carol she came down moments later, we both laughed as we were going through You Tube, we heard the bell ringing we both got up and went to greet our friends and went into the study, my uncle joined us after "don't worry about me, I just want to see what my niece is up to" he said sitting on the couch, everyone sat in a half circle facing me,

"well I know most of the pack are too shy to talk to me, so that's why I have decided to assign you'll to different parts of this land, including the men that guard these doors, that way I will know what needs to be done, every evening we will meet up to talk about what the pack's needs, if you can't come just tell Carol" I said as I saw my uncle from a distance looking proud, my uncle nodded in happiness.

We talked about more things , some of them had suggestions which Carol took note of, everyone had lunch and left, me and Carol went back to the study to go through some papers I got.

after a few hours we fell asleep on our chairs, going through contracts and funds is a hard job.

I must check every single word, before sighing them, my mother came inside and tapped on me as I opened my eyes,

"I need to go, something just came up back at home, me and Derek will be going together try not to cause any trouble while I'm gone" she said rubbing my head and giving me a kiss on the head.

"yeah sure mom, I never cause trouble, not anymore" I said getting back to reading, I saw Carol a sleep, I didn't want to wake her since she's been reading with me for hours.

I went outside to the garden to get some fresh air, I saw some people sitting with my grandma so I went to sit with them, after tea I went back to the study with some biscuits and tea for Carol she was already awake and reading,

"hey your up" I said keeping the tray down on the table,

"I checked all of these, and there clear so you can go ahead and sigh them" she said separating some papers, I sat back down sighing them.

After dinner Carol went upstairs and I sat down waiting for my mom to come home, it was 10.00pm and my mom was still not home, I went into the study to get my phone when I heard someone shouting as they entered the house, I turned back and it was my uncle, he was caring my mom,

he kept her on the ground shouting for help, I ran crying kneeling down beside her, as the entire pack came running in.
