Chapter 45: A Royal Double Dinner Date

At dinner the next night after their triumph at the shrine, much laughter filled the room, which definitely fit with recent events. But this time, the Dark Goddess wasn’t an unwelcome guest. The trial was over. They’d won.
Cyran and Tulaska would be coming home, and no one was happier than Jiro and Garnet about Cyran. When Patch mind-linked with his brothers and Lilia, Jiro said, in his best Alpha manner, that the pack would just have to accept it. Anneliese fancied she could hear the rejoicing in Evenhide lands. Anneliese couldn’t yet hear her Cresta family through the mind link, but Lilia had gotten the ability fairly quickly. Anneliese vowed she’d be faster!
She was silly with victory right now. She knew Merkur, the Goddess Brigid, and the Moon Goddess had worked a miracle through all of them.
