Lilia POV
Reeling from Azandra’s revelation, Lilia waited for Dane and Kyon to try and contact Patch and Dirge. Unfortunately, neither of them answered. Dane sensed they were active and awake, probably in human form. Kyon just rolled his eyes, disgruntled with his wayward little brothers.
“There’s another way,” Lilia said. “I … I haven’t tried it at such a great distance, but witches can communicate with each other through astral projection when we need to.”
Dane arched his eyebrows. “When have you tried it?”
“I projected myself into the Bloodstone two weeks ago to check on our three voyagers,” Lilia answered. “It worked. I haven’t mastered it yet, and it works best with another witch or wizard on the other end. I need to go to my workshop.”
