Patch POV
A barrage of advice hit Patch and Dirge as they hesitated by the wooden garden gate painted blue, with a rich leafy arbor beyond it leading to the Chalices’ front door.
Dane said, “Make sure you tidy up after yourself.”
Azandra added, “Help out around the house.”
Taking time out from running down poachers, Jiro chimed in. “Let the Chalices talk at dinner.”
Kyon contributed, “Mr. Chalice has such great stories.”
Garnet joined in. “Don’t forget to compliment the house and the meal.”
“And Patch, this is your ONE chance to impress your potential fated mate’s parents, so no pressure,” Dane said in a serious tone.
“Thank you for the sibling support,” Patch said in a cavalier way, determined not to show any hint of nervousness. “It means SO much.”
“Don’t mention it,” his three older brothers chorused.
