People in the Evenhide Pack said that Patch Cresta was the master of surprise and trickery. At the moment, Anneliese thought his little brother Dirge deserved that title. A tiny bundle of energy who seemed to have shot up and gotten taller in the last few months, Dirge had just managed to get the drop on both of them … and sneak out of Crimsontail territory without his vigilant brothers, who knew his every move, being the wiser.
They were probably tearing apart the territory and the Battlecona Wood trying to find him.
“You are in so much trouble,” Anneliese muttered, with sympathy, but her stomach clenched. What if Hades’ monsters had gotten their hands on him?
With an innocent air and wide eyes, Dirge gazed around at the crystals in the shop. “Hello, you two. I wonder what spells you can make with all of these?”
