CHAPTER 143 Don't Call Me Luna

  Maisie's POV

I woke up with a start wondering where I'm seated, I looked around the dark room.

My eyes slowly adjust to the darkness as I stare at the room, I couldn't recognize.

It wasn't my room, it was too unfamiliar to be a mime and too small and cramped to be mine.

The walls were covered by some white wallpaper that was peeling off, and in one corner of the room, there was an old bed frame that seemed almost falling apart.

I tried standing up, my heart beating frantically with worry, but my legs failed me.

My mind began wandering, thinking of what I was doing here and how I got here.

The room is spinning wildly around me, I felt sick, everything was just so wrong.

A door creaked open behind me causing my head to snap around. My breath hitches when my vision focuses on what's coming toward me.

A woman walked in, she looked somewhat familiar, but I couldn't place her. I tried thinking of how or where I knew her from, yet I didn't know how I knew her.
