CHAPTER 124 Are We Lost?
Lance's POV
I rushed out of the place, with Raphael behind me, I made Aidan and Raul keep reinforcement and guards outside my room.
I didn't need another surprise attack while I went looking for where the witch is.
My heart was pounding in my chest. Why did she have to make a move on me now? All I've done these months was try to get other Alphas off my radar and keep the peace, yet the witch decided to give me more problems.
I frowned when I saw the direction Raphael was going.
He kept looking at the map on his phone, "Are we lost?" I raised my eyebrows.
He smiled at me and shrugged. We arrived at a dead end. "Well this isn't good" I sighed, Raphael looked around to find any sign of life.
He put his ear to the walls and started shaking. Then he opened an empty door and shouted out.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" There were no responses and I could hear footsteps getting closer, he took a few steps backward before turning back to me and motioning to go.
