"This…" I trailed off, looking left and right. I didn't have a wolf, but it certainly felt like my heart was racing, beating to the drum of his voice.
On one side, Damon and Blaise looked at me with panic in their eyes. On the other, the rest of the packs watched on with a mixture of amusement and shock. Either way, none of the responses were good and it didn't take a genius to figure out why.
