OLIVIA'S POV
"Luna, you're back." Vanessa grinned as I arrived on the first floor.
It was around evening and I didn't expect her to be around. She was holding a tray containing a bunch of blueberries.
"How long did you wait here?" I asked, in surprise.
"W-well... Since you left."
That was not impressive.
"Whenever I'm not around, you don't have to serve me. It was just an excuse to stop those girls from bullying you. You should also do what you like to do the most instead of waiting."
I walked toward her and sighed. There were beads of sweat on her forehead and that gave me the information I needed. She had stood there for a very long time.
I opened the door to my room and ushered her in. I patted a spot next to me on the bed and she sat down and looked at me curiously.
I didn't know why but I felt like Vanessa was trustworthy and I blurted everything to her without thinking.
