Eric brought a drink to his lips and his nostrils caught an unusual scent. A normal human wouldn't be able to notice but he was a werewolf.

Werewolves easily pick up the slightest scents even from a distance. Hearing things loudly was also common among werewolves and that was why being a werewolf was always regarded as a curse.

There were other reasons like the pain of shifting and being hunted. Well, the problem here wasn't being a werewolf but the champagne he was about to drink.

Eric didn't just notice the weird smell of the champagne but also the gaze of the waitress on him like she was eagerly waiting for him to drink it.

Rhoda was lingering for him to take a sip, she wanted to make sure that he at least drank it.

Eric noticed this and knew instantly that something was fishy, so he didn't bother drinking it. Instead, he brought down his hand and glanced at Rhoda.

Rhoda faked a smile, not intimidated by his gaze.
