Chapter 36: The Cursed Hollow
Jiro POV
Four days later, Jiro stood in the mists as the wind whipped his fur without cooling the air. Fog and smoke swirled on the horizon, and flickering fire spirits patrolled, talking to each other in hisses and crackling only they understood.
To the east was Evenhide Territory. To the west, Crimsontail land. North of the mist and smoke was the wood elf territory. Their party stood right on the point where the three kingdoms intersected and overlapped, marked by a stone with a triquetra symbol on it. Three interlaced arcs had been carved into the stone. “Crimsontail” was written on one side in the shifter and Wood Elvish tongues, with one loop pointing at the word. “Evenhide” was written next to the other point. The top loop pointed to “Brighmere.”
