Jiro POV
Tiberius had gotten away again!
Lucina and Mekito were happily playing with their cousins, but Tiberius had slipped out.
“Tee gone, Daddy,” Lucina said.
“Where’s your brother?” Jiro demanded, feeling like he might have a heart attack.
Ridiculous. Tiberius couldn’t go far. Even though Cresta House had a lot of places a shifter baby could get stuck in or drown in or hit his head on …
“‘Kito, tell Daddy,” Lucina said.
Mekito glanced up at him while sticking plants in Fairmont’s hair. “Look, Daddy.”
“Yes, that’s nice, I’m sure your cousin loves it,” Jiro said with a smile. “But where is Tiberius?”
“Tee went to eat,” Mekito said simply. “Daddy play elf with us?”
Fairmont did look like a little elf with those plants in her hair.
“You know what? That’s a great idea,” Jiro said, surprised at himself. “But I think your brother would like to play too. Why don’t I go find him in the kitchen?”
Mekito nodded. “Go find Tee, Daddy!”
