The new neighbour

A man in a white suit stood in the middle of a room filled with people in black uniform which had red stripes on the side;zero agents.He was in a white suit and had his golden hair pulled back.

He gazed upon a screen that showed Iniko's house.

"This is weird sir,the demon was killed but the sensors still detect a demonic presence there."

He glared at the screen silent for a while before speaking, "One of the residents perhaps?"

"We're not sure,attacking them without clarity and possibly intentionally bringing harm to humans would be going against law,"a male spoke before going back to the screens.

"As if I care about law.Alright then,we shall send an agent to investigate."

"We send one of our own in there to snoop around and I can promise they won't be coming out if they find the demon."

"That's not quite what I meant,plant an agent undercover as a neighbour there,then they will be able to keep an eye on the place and give us intel on whatever happens there.When the demon reveals itself,we strike."

"Sounds like a good idea,but who?"

"I nominate agent 77896,Lyla Hasin,she has shown that in case there is trouble she will be able to keep herself safe before backup arrives.And she is a great actor and highly social,I think she'd be perfect."

"Of course sir!I shall make the call to send the message immediately,"said a woman before taking out her phone and making a call telling the person on the other side the news.

A loaded moving truck parked right outside the house neighbouring Inikos.Lilith and Iniko werent really that interested but Alya insisted they help the new neighbour move in.Eventually she won and they all went to help.

Nothing out of the ordinary as they helped her unpack except for a few boxes she insisted not to be opened.It wasn't an issue to dwell on so they just proceeded to aid her.

"Thank you three a lot!Hey,for thanks,how's about dinner at my place tonight?"Lyla said after they were done.

Lilith and Alya tried to resist but she insisted they join her.They eventually gave in and accepted the invitation.

As they returned to their home,Lyla took out her phone and got into her house making a call.After the call she proceeded to move the boxes which were to be untouched out of the way and opening them,she took out firearms and put them in different points of the house.

When she was done she went out to get some groceries.In an attempt to investigate who she was,Iniko also walked out of the house and followed her towards the grocery store.

He made sure she didn't notice him behind her and they went all the way to the store.She bought some vegetables,fruits and some fresh meat.To not seem too awkward,Iniko grabbed some juice and fruits and put them in a bag.

As they walked out of the store Iniko finally spoke to her taking one of her bags in an attempt to help her.

"Hi,I'm Iniko,aren't you my new neighbour?I didn't quite catch your name back then,miss,"

"Oh,thank you,you're such a sweet boy,"she gave him a smile,"I'm Lyla by the way.Hope everyone around her is as nice as you and your family."

"Oh,people around here are plenty nice,I think you'll like it here for your uh,holiday?"

She stared at him in confusion,"Huh?Holiday?"

"Oh,if you didn't come here for vacation,then what would bring you around here?"

"Oh,"she giggled slightly,"Just job stuff,you know,I have a job that requires me to travel around quite a bit,"

"Is that so?What job is that?Maybe I might join it when I'm all grown up."

"I'm just a simple travel agent,"she answered.

"Guess the rumours about travel agents is true huh."

"Rumours!?What rumours?"She asked in somewhat a panic.

"Well that to be one you gotta be super beautiful, like you,"He gave her a bit of a smile.

She gasped at the highschool boy's rizz and blushed a bit but quickly turned away to prevent him from seeing it."I'm older than you you know."

"Yea,I know,but just as wine gets sweeter and better as it ages,you seem better than anyone my age,"He chuckled.

She blushed even more and was now too stunned to speak.Luckily,they were nearing her house.At arrival,Iniko left her at the door and returned her bag and got into his house with the bag of juice and fruits and left them at the kitchen.

He went back upstairs to his room and found Lilith waiting for him inside.She was in short gym shorts and a bra top with her phone in one hand sitting on his bed.

"Do you have to hit on every woman you lay your dirty eyes upon?"She got off his bed.

"Someone jealous?"He asked taking his jacket off with a bit of a smirk.

"Something's not right about her,you should watch out,don't say I didn't warn ya."She finished and walked towards the exit.

"You should get ready for dinner at her place,you can't go there dressed like that."

She walked out without a word and proceeded to her room.
