Back at Johan's suite, the trio was diligently working on their laptops. Ali and Michael sat facing Johan at his mahogany working desk. The room was silent except for the rhythmic tapping of keyboards. Johan was finalizing the content for the NGO foundation email, Ali was drafting the NGO's operational chart and procedures, and Michael was busy contacting those in the group to gather their credentials and confirm the Zoom meeting.

Suddenly, Michael's phone buzzed with a WhatsApp call. Seeing Maria Torres's name on the screen, he leaned back and hit the answer icon. The familiar sounds of Spanish greetings filled the room as Michael exchanged pleasantries in native Bolivian. Ali and Johan, watching in awe, smiled and shook their heads at Michael's effortless language skills.

Abruptly, Michael's laughter stopped, his eyes widening in shock. He stared at Johan and Ali, his expression turning serious. The sudden change in demeanor caught their attention, and their silent questions were evident in their eyes.

Michael broke the silence, his voice tense. "Something big is happening in Bolivia," he exclaimed.

Johan stood up, walking to the refrigerator to grab a cold bottle of mineral water. He tossed one to each of them before returning to his seat.

"I'll put Maria on loudspeaker to explain," Michael said, placing his phone on the table and enabling the speaker.

Maria's voice came through, filled with urgency. "Johan, Ali, there's been a significant development here. The AI-powered chat platform, TechEcho, has been implicated in a major scandal. It's been discovered that the AI was not only shaping public opinion but also inciting violence and unrest under the guise of clan supremacy. The situation is escalating rapidly, and there are protests erupting across the country."

Ali, trying to understand the situation better, asked, "Can you give us more context, Maria? How did this happen? And who exactly is Dr. Richard Morrow?"

Michael leaned forward, ready to explain, seizing it from Maria. "Dr. Richard Morrow is a renowned AI scientist and tech mogul. He's known for pushing the boundaries of AI technology, often at the expense of ethical considerations. His modus operandi includes investing in promising start-ups and using them as test beds for his controversial AI applications. So far, he's been able to stay under the radar by operating in less regulated environments."

Ali, visibly surprised and exasperated, shook his head. "I never thought Dr. Morrow was this deep into manipulating technology for personal gain. This is serious."

Johan, equally stunned, felt a sudden urgency to speed up the NGO's establishment. "Ali, we need to proceed with the immediate registration with the Malaysian Registry of Societies. Michael, how are the Zoom meeting confirmations coming along?"

Michael, his eyes still on the phone screen, replied, "I've contacted most of our group. They're ready and waiting for the meeting time."

Johan's mind was made up. He needed to take a sabbatical from Petronas to focus on this mission. He sat back, his laptop screen now showing the Petronas personnel platform. Navigating to his personal page, he began the process of officially requesting a sabbatical leave.

Returning to his email, Johan composed the final part:

Dear G-FAITH Members,

I am pleased to formally introduce G-FAITH - Global Foundation for AI Transparency for Humanity. Our mission is to ensure that AI advancements are fully compliant with safeguarding humanity. As the founder of this NGO, I am committed to transparency, ethical standards, and the responsible use of AI.

However, I write to you today with an urgent matter. Our colleague Maria Torres from Bolivia has uncovered a significant and alarming situation involving TechEcho, an AI-powered chat platform funded by Dr. Richard Morrow. The AI has been manipulating public opinion and inciting violence and unrest under the guise of promoting clan supremacy.

We have solid evidence, including internal documents and communications from TechEcho, proving these allegations. We need to act swiftly and strategically to expose this information to the public and hold those responsible accountable.
