Affection

John was sent back to his empty room. With nothing else to do he lay in bed attempting to get some shut-eye. The last thought that he had was one of reflection, and slight dissapointment, "Well I guess our 'Big Day!' was cut short." He let out a sigh, and fell asleep.

[Day of The Fight]

John was awoken by a guard and was getting escorted along the path Imam and himself had walked yesterday. John was idly thinking to himself, "Guess I can't expect him to come get me up after our last conversation."

John hadn't even realized that the guard was looking at him as if John was an idiot "Hurry up and go in, don't keep him waiting." John, of course, had no choice but to comply.

John walked in, expecting to see Imam, and he did. "Hey John! I didn't come get you today because i was busy waking somebody else up." Imam cupped his hands and looked to another door on the opposite side of the room "Come here!"

After a slight rustling behind the door and a woman walked through the door, "I'm sure you two know each other..."

Fragments of thoughts flashed through John's head "Black hair- pretty- green eyes-" The next words that were heard were a mashup of two different names "JENNY! JOHN!" They said almost in unison "Are you okay!?" They both ran to each other and gave a friendly and relief filled hug.

They kept stumbling over each others words, with questions and statements of relief that each other, are okay until Imam spoke, "One at a time please this is getting frustrating." Imam sighed.

John's eyes opened wide as soon as he was brought back to reality and realized that Imam was standing right by them. He let Jenny go first.

"You're not hurt right, John?" John's throat and mouth were extremely dry, so he simply nodded confirmation. "Do you know where everyone else is? I haven't seen Brad or Wesley at all." Her voice trembled as she asked the question.

John gulped, realizing that she hadn't seen either of them as well. "N- No... I havent, I'm sorry Jenny." Jenny's face bloomed with contempt as she turned her gaze towards Imam.

John quickly looked everywhere, trying to find something to change the topic with before Jenny angered Imam. He finally saw something to talk about "So uh, Jenny! You got a new dress? It matches your eyes." Jenny was wearing a green and black, middle eastern looking, dress with long sleeves and many fine beeding and fine detailing.

"Yes, it's a new dress... Imam gave me it." Jenny clearly didn't like the dress but she also realized that she should calm down in front of Imam. "Thank you John, I like the dress as well." She did NOT like the dress at all, simply because it came from Imam, but it would be best if he didn't know that.

"Okay once you two are done chit-chatting lets get moving it starts soon!" Imam said excitedly.

They both looked at eachother with puzzled looks on their faces. "Where are we going, Imam?" They both asked in unison.

Imam replied, "Oh, well we might be late now but if not it will be very exciting! You'll se when we get there!" Slight worry covered John's face but as for Jenny she just silently sighed.

[Walking Towards The Collosseum]

As they were still walking, John saw out of the corner of his eye a man with dark brown hair and a muscular build. "Brad!!! IS THAT YOU?!", by the time Jenny and Imam turned to look at who John was yelled at the man had already dissapeared.

Imam spoke "Oh we're here but lets get some food first. I'm starving!"

John whispered to Jenny, "Well, he's gone now but if that was him atleast hes still alive." They continued walking until they arrived at a resturaunt.

[Makulat Bahria's Sea Food Diner]

"Ah this isn't my favorite resturaunt, but they have the best seafood from the waters of Muhit" Imam was smiling a lot for claiming it wasn't his favorite.

"Oh, well isn't that resturaunt from earlier your favorite?" John asked trying to lighten the mood even more.

"Yeah, it is wasn't it sooooo good, John?" Imam replied.

Jenny glared at John inquisitively. "Yeah it was thanks for treating me to it." Everything was going smoothly and John began to think they might be able to get out of this huge ship alive.

John was served a sea creature that had 20 legs and a tiny head with pointy spikes on the top of it's skull. "Wow.... This looks uh.... Delicious? I can't wait.." John's food was still more appetizing than what Jenny had ordered.

Jenny almost gagged just imaging having to eat her food, a giant slug with slime covering every inch of the main body, yet no slime near the front or end of it, (The front and the end are indistinguishable).

"Oh, wow Jenny I didn't realize you ordered that. It's my favorite!" Imam moistened his lips "You know seeing it now I wish I had ordered that... Do you want to trade with me?"

Jenny's face almost literally lit up with joy when she saw all Imam had was a regular appearing grilled fish. "YES! Imam I would love to trade with you!" Jenny doesn't like fish but she was still smiling uncontrollably that she didn't have to eat the slug.

Imam looked at a clock, designed to tell time specifically on this ship, "Oh no we're late lets go!" They hadn't finished eating but John was extremely grateful he didn't have a full stomach.

"Yes, let's go, oh and Imam thank you for the food. It was very filling." John lied of course.

John, Imam, and Jenny all walked into the collosseum. "Okay, I heard today is going to be two brand new competitors, they will fight for their glory and pride!"

John was the first to witness the grusome scene, and only confusion filled his face. As for Jenny the only thing stopping her from bursting into tears was utter shock "WHAT- What! WHAT DID YOU DO?"

Jenny screamed, her voice barely able to finish the sentence. The words were muted by the cheers of the crowd, they never reached Wesley.
