Chapter 26 [Help!]

It was noon when Akane and Koharu departed in the North High Adventurers Academy. The two girls had already eaten and were full. Akane was about to lead them to a place that allowed them to rent a horse when Koharu pulled Akane's wrist without giving the girl time to protest.

「Wait! Koharu! The Renting Place is that way!」

Koharu didn't say anything and lead the girl out of the capital. Koharu keeps pulling Akane until they reach the outskirts of the capital. When they were finally out of the border. Koharu notice that Akane wasn't keeping up at her pace at all.

「*Huff Huff* Har—ru what's the deal?!」Akane catches her breath and gives Koharu a deadly glare. Koharu didn't say anything at all. She just stared at the girl as if waiting for her to catch her breath. When Akane finally regain her composure. Koharu suddenly did something that she didn't expect.

「Kyaa」Akane let out a squeak when Koharu suddenly scoop her without warning

The crimson-haired girl blush when she notice their position and stared at Koharu.

「W-what a-a-are you doing?」The poor girl asks. Instead of giving her an answer. Koharu just gave Akane a smirk, a charming smirk but for Akane, at the moment it looks more like a devil's grin.

「Hold tight. Wrap your arms around my neck」

Koharu said slowly and seductively. She did that on purpose. Truth be told, she is having too much fun teasing the hell out of the girl in her arms. The girls are so cute including Fumiko, Mayumi, and Fiona when they were blushing. It is even more so when Koharu thought she was the cause of it. She love the effect she had on people!

The Red-head girl blush even more if that was even possible when she heard Koharu's seductive voice. Akane will never admit it but she was charmed by this beautiful girl. Never admit it to herself or say it out loud. Her night blue eyes seem to read your soul and the mischievous and playful glint that flash through her eyes as she said those words. All of that was enough to make her heart go wild. She even forgets the promise she made with her childhood friend whenever she is around her.

『This girl is having too much fun!! 』Akane thought inwardly when she saw the night-blue eyes twinkle with playfulness.

Despite that, she still wraps around her arms in Koharu's neck with reluctance. Akane's cheeks are crimson red, both from embarrassment and her natural reaction to Koharu's flirting. They were quite far from the main gate and there isn't anyone nearby. However, that doesn't change the fact that she was in an embarrassing position with a girl and it is also the first time she was carried like this!

When Koharu ensure that the girl in her arms was comfortable. She look around and confirm that there was indeed no one around. She immediately took off at a terrifying speed, impossible for a human. Akane who was having an internal battle of her heart and mind paled at the speed they were going. Her cheeks that were once red were now pale blue. Koharu has already pinpointed the exact location of Laertes Forest and where is the Dionyza Kingdom can be found.

Koharu chooses the shortcuts in their destination. She had a map in her head and knows which is the shortest route. So, They manage to arrive at the forest before the sunsets.

「No...no..mo..re」Akane mutter under her breath. She was kneeling on the ground in all fours while muttering "no more" repeatedly. She also has a pale face. Koharu bent sit and poke Akane's cheek.

「Are you okay?」Hearing that familiar voice who cause this in the first place. Akane felt like her veins were bulging in her temple. With a dark aura surrounding her, she asks Koharu in a dark tone.

「Do I look like I'm okay?」Akane's voice was low and intimidating. Koharu subconsciously gulps a mouthful of saliva.

On Year Leo, October 14 at around 4:00 pm. Koharu got scolded hard for the first time in her life two life.

When Akane finish her ranting, it was almost 5:00 pm. Akane isn't worried at all because she knows that her companion can finish setting up their camp in less than a minute.

Akane woke up in the morning to find herself in the arms of Koharu. Half-awake she snuggles closer to the girl. Koharu is already awake and waited for Akane to wake up. They weren't in a hurry and besides they were already close to the Elven Kingdom since they are already in their territory, the Laertes Forest.

When Akane snuggles closer to Koharu. Koharu reciprocated with a hug.

『Hmn, It so warm and comfortable. It also smells like Koharu..*snooreee* wait! Koharu's...haru...Koharu?!』

Realizing their position and what she just did cause Akane suddenly opens her eyes and sits up abruptly causing Koharu to chuckle. Koharu knows there is no danger since she sets up a barrier. So, the only plausible reason was that the girl realize their sleeping position causing her to be embarrassed and panic. She also notices the girl's red cheek.

Koharu teases the redhead girl again before they eat breakfast. The breakfast went uneventfully and finally, they were set to go to the Dionyza Kingdom.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the wilderness where trees stand tall was an ongoing battle. The growl of the beast can be heard and the clash of the sword and claw resounded in the area.

Two women and a man can be seen fighting a beast that looks like a lion with wings and a black horn protruding in its temple. They were three of them but only one has a black horn-like a bull.

「Princess!! Please quickly escape!」A voice that can be discerned that came from women is heard on the battlefield.

「We can't defeat them! I can only hold them off!」 the woman added

「But! I can't leave you guys here」said another woman

「We can hold off for a while, call for help!」said the man

The girl whom they refer to as a princess nodded her head with a face full of reluctance.

「I'll be back. Please hold on until help arrives!」said the girl

The girl has blonde hair that glistens in the sunlight and her pair of beautiful amethyst eyes was filled with worry, reluctance, and regret. She has a good proportion face and a long ear that only added points to her beauty. This girl is truly beautiful — A beautiful elf girl. Her companions also had the same long ear that is a distinctive feature of the Elven race.

Their opponent is known as the Wing Lion. A lion is known for its speed, strength, and ferocious nature. They also have a wind element and a little bit of intelligence that made it more annoying. The Wing Lion is known for its pride and is also considered as an A-Rank monster to the adventurers.

The young Elven fighters that consisted of a man and a two-woman parried well with this ferocious beast. One Wing Lion was even down but...they only manage to injure the other and scratch the Horned Lion Wing that seem to be the leader. Blood drips into the arms of the warriors. Scratch and Exhaustion are visible in their face. The young blonde Elf also had a pale expression as her mana is slowly running out. The Wing Lion was agile and can easily avoid the attack thrown at them but sometimes they let their guard down because of their prideful nature and got hurt.

The woman that is holding a rapier with magic infuses on her sword is fighting fairly well at first but exhaustion was getting into her. It was the same with the Elf Guy who is fighting with a large sword, like the first woman, he is also using magic with her large sword. Yes, like Koharu aims to be. They are what they call a magic swordsman who wield both magic and blade. Almost all soldiers in the Elven Kingdom was a magician/mage or magic swordsman.

These warriors that are currently engaged in the battle of the Wing Lion are by no means, ordinary warriors. They are one of the skilled warriors in the Elven Kingdom. 「Help!!」The young princess' voice resounded throughout the forest

In a wilderness were two teenage girls walking leisurely through the dangerous forest while casually talking. Trees were seen everywhere and beast grunts and howls can be heard but one look from Koharu. They would flee with their tails between their legs.

One of the girls has irritated expression while the other has a poker face.

「Nee~ Akane?」

「What does the ocean say to the other ocean?」Koharu ask

「What?」Akane answer grumpily

「Nothing. They just wave. Did you see wh—」

When Koharu was talking with Akane. She is suddenly interrupted by a scream.

「Help!!」
