Since they were going to put on a show, they had to do the whole thing.

The middle-aged couple nodded, and the woman wiped her tears with her hand. Then, she looked in Shu Yu's direction.
The leading officer waved his hand and let them say goodbye.
The two of them quickly went forward and whispered a few words to each other, but they were just words of concern to tell her to take care of herself.
