As soon as enter the office smell of lavender hits my nose.
Ray goes like," We are almost there it's her it's her"
I sigh for the first time in 24 years I am overjoyed I finally found her.I might not have met her but I knew she was in my office, I closely inspected the coffee cup it was engulfed in her smell that made me feel delighted
"Get back to world Mr.CEO"
"Nicholas it better be something important", I said in my alpha voice
"Well let's see we have a meeting in next 10 minutes is that important enough, alpha ?", he said with his words dripped in sarcasm.
He knows I don't get angry on either him or Ashton they are like my brothers and like the only close family I have left.Except them everyone else either wants my status or get me married to their acquaintances.
"I think I found my mate", I told him in with an essence of merriment in my voice
"I knew I always knew you would find our Luna where is she? Who is she? Shit, I need to tell Stella about it she will be so happy, Oh did you tell Ashton Oh my Claire also needs to know about it",

"Nic I haven't met her yet but yes you can tell Stella and Claire about it and I have to speak to Ashton about it because its one of the employees"
"Ok fine I got to go" and he rushed out of the doors to inform Stella who is his mate and Claire his sister and Ashton's mate.
Within the next 2mins Ashton gushed into my room with a rather angry expression almost like someone had cheated on him.
"So you decide to inform every fucking person but me I thought you said I was your younger brother"
"Ash it isn't like that -"
He cut me off saying," So Mr.Alpha CEO whatever you won't get your lunch today for not treating me with enough importance"
"You sound like a girl"
"You could say I borrowed the dialogue from Claire, anyways we are late for the meeting"
"Oh " and it struck me that it was the human world all people care about is money.
Amber:
So I don't know what's wrong with me I just feel excited as if I am a kid entering school for the first time, its as if my mind is telling me to go and meet the CEO.But as you see I can't as Ash said ,"Don't ever interrupt a meeting if you don't want him to interrupt your life"
Therefore I sit here try concentrating on arranging the bullshit of files in front of me.
Zach:
As soon as the meeting ended which according to Ray seemed like 3 years passing by I took my leave and followed the refreshing smell that ended at my new assistant's office.She looked up at me with her light brown eyes which seemed to be in shock, strands of her dark brown hair jutted out of her low lying hair bun and her skin seemed to be flawless. She radiated positive energy and was the most stunning woman I had ever seen.
Ray was awestruck he wanted me to go claim her but then it hit me there was no wolf in her she is human
"No", I muttered
"Yes sir", she said in a calm and composed voice, it sent a shiver down my spine but her last word brought me back to earth.I straightened myself and realised who I was.
"Get the files to my desk within next 15 minutes", I tried to maintain my alpha voice
"Ok sir", she said in her peaceful notes
"Its Zach for you don't use sir", this time it was Ray speaking
"Zach", she muttered under her breath.
Amber:
"Amber you're stupid very stupid you should have known you shouldn't have come to office today" I kept on panicking ever since he entered the room
"But he doesn't have to know no one has ever doubted you " I kept chanting this lie a mantra to calm myself and called Zander told him everything that happened and he reassured me and Zander being himself had commented "It's not wrong getting attracted to a super hot boss you know"
This made me flush red if he wasn't like a brother he would have been dead as of now.I arranged the files and started to drag myself to Zach's room.
Ok I exaggerated saying I had to drag myself you see everyone looks forward to visiting a super hot boss who has given you the privilege to call you by your name.
Zach:
"She is here she is here go open the door go go go", this is all Ray said as soon as he could smell her
I alerted Nic that she was at door, he turned around and seemed to be bewildered by her beauty.
"Mine", I mind linked him and he just turned his gaze down.
I get it he has a mate but I have alpha blood in me making me super possessive of my mate but I realised I had to take it slow she is a human and I couldn't burden her with all the werewolf knowledge and according to what Zander had told me even he hadn't exposed her to the world yet.
"Zach the files have been arranged and I am done for the day so may I leave", she asked in a voice filled with innocence.If it had been anyone else I would have dismissed them with a simple nod or burden them with more work but this woman in front of me made sparks ignited in my veins with every word she said. Every cell in my body wanted me to be polite and caring towards her. I wanted her all to me and I wanted her to fall for me as much as I had fallen for her.
"Zach?", her look seemed to melt me
"Do you have some plans after office, is it necessary to leave this early ?", I asked her trying to keep myself composed. In reality I wanted to make her sit and keep on listening to her.
"Oh, no no it was just that after a long time I am done so early so I was planning to take a stroll"
"Shit" she muttered under her breath
"See I'm sorry for getting over-friendly I think I will head back to my office, send a word if I'm needed. Thank you, Sir"
I was too lost in my thoughts to realised she was opening the door of my office.
"Stop", I screamed at her.She looked hurt as if it wasn't expected.
"It wasn't asshole she is our mate, not your local fling you can't shout at her like that", Ray almost growled at me.
"Hi I am Nicholas I think it would be nice if you walked us through the city in an hour, I mean if you are comfortable with the idea and Ashton will be there."
Thank god Nic was my beta he always did great in saving my ass.
"Sure Sir, it would be my pleasure", the formality in her tone hurt Ray.
"This is your fault you think you can treat anyone like anything" is all Ray said before he vanished.
