Kai and Darya were sitting in the car on they're way back to the academy. Darya was eyeing Kai as he looked at his watch with a smile.

"This is the first time you have seen your bank account since you got out of a coma right?" She asked.

"Yes, I thought it would all be gone," Kai said, still overly happy.

"Well technically you were not dead so they couldn't proceed with passing your money to someone else.

"Still all one million dollars are still intact from the last job we did," Kai smiled.

Darya then looked at Kai with a smirk on her face.

"You seem to be getting stronger and ruthless like before. Is your confidence in your power increasing?" Darya asked.

Kai responded by clenching his fist, he felt power inside his body. "Something like that. I will catch up quickly, you know that right?" He added

"You better Cain is good to probably come for you one of these days" She said

Meanwhile in the wall

"So in the center you encounter something that can rival the power of a demon tier beast." A white hair man who appeared to be around 50 years old stated.

He was sitting at a desk. His uniform had a lion's crest on it.

"Don't worry, the Fire Mane Order will provide a team" The man said to Cain.

With that Cain stepped out of the office and was greeted by someone whom he didn't like. In fact he hated this person as she was basically his opposite.

"Hello there Cain, how have you been?" A Blonde beauty said. This person was Nika.

"What do you want, Captain?" Cain asked politely. He hated her but he was not foolish to be arrogant with her. He was just a rank A while Nika was low SS.

"I heard a little rumor about your brother. He had a run in with another student right?" She said with a slight smirk on her face.

"That's correct, I was actually planning on going to the stone edge for…"

"For revenge?" Nika cut him short, her cold icy blue aura was leaking from her body.

"Let me make something really clear for you Cain"

*BOOM!*

Her aura exploded and was freezing the floor around her and the temperature in the room dropped.

Cain's body couldn't move; he was standing by pure sheer will.

"You are not to touch a single hair of Kai Hellbound" she said coldly while staring Cain Dead in the eye.

"I understand!" Cain said but in the back of his mind he had found the missing piece of the mystery.

"Kai Hellbound" he thought in anger.

"Captain, we need to move two legendary tier beasts that have appeared on the east coast" Ryan said in a hurry.

"Two legendary tier beasts on the coast, well that's weird. Anyways nice seeing you Cain, be sure to heed my advice" She said smiling as she exited the building to go deal with the beast.

"I must thank you Nika, you just gave me a lead to whoever hurt my little brother" Cain said as he smiled evilly.

"Are you really going after a kid?" Bruce said, leaning against a wall.

Cain shrugged this comment as he

Walked towards the exit.

"I am not going after a kid but a monster who leads its hands on my family" Cain responded.

He left the building and headed to the docks to arrive at the mainland.

"Just you wait, I'll be there soon, Kai Hellbound" Cain stated as he saw a boat coming closer to the island.

Back at stone edge academy.

Kai and Darya arrive and say goodbye to each other. Kai then entered his room and quickly took the suit off. He then landed on his bed weirdly enough he felt more tired from this than every fight he has participated in this last few weeks.

Kai then remembered what Darya told him.

"Cain will come. I need to get ready" Kai said while falling asleep.

Kai woke up suddenly in a house he looked around in confusion as he exited the room he was in. In front of him was a hall that connected to two other rooms. Picture decor in the hallway inside those pictures Kai and three other people could be seen, two female figures and one male.

A middle aged woman with black hair that had streaks of red and brown eyes that seemed to be related to Kai. The other female was a teenager that looked to be 15 years old. Her hair was brown and it matched the color of her eyes.

The male figure was a middle aged man that had brown and dark brown eyes with a smile plastered on his face. This was a picture of Kai's family.

Kai looked at his hands and they were quite small and lean. He managed to get a glimpse of his reflection with the pictures, he was currently a younger version of himself.

"What the hell?" Young Kai said.

But suddenly he heard things breaking on the first floor along with some grunts. Kai, hearing this ran towards the stairs, he wanted to make sure everything was okay. When he reached the first floor a gruesome sight was the only thing there was. His father was holding chains covered in blood while his mother and sister were on the floor unmoving.

"Dad what happened?" young Kai asked.

His father turned around and with a murderous look, this made Kai step back unconsciously. "Father who did this?'

"What do you mean Kai? I did this" His father chuckled like a psychopath.

This filled Kai with rage, but his father kicked him in the gut. The air escaped his lungs from the impact. He fell to the floor while trying to breath, his father looked at him coldly.

"I did this for you Kai, you are too weak to be my son and my heir. It was them who held you back" The voice of his fathers echoed in his head.

But the scenery changed as he could see images of Darya, Sarah, Rita, Suro and Akashi, behind his fathers back.

"They are holding you back"

"You're to weak"

"You cannot protect anyone"

The image of his father was melting away as a shadow figure started to emerge from him.

"You are weak"

"You are weak"

"You are weak"

The shadow continued repeating this in his head.

"No!' Kai shouted

"Yes, you cannot protect anyone"

"Weak"

"Shut up!"

But the shadow kept repeating and repeating the same thing. Kai was burning with anger as all of these memories started to flood his mind. It was too much even for Kai, his body lit on fire and exploded, burning everything inside that nightmare.

He woke up to see his room was on fire yet again he waved his hand extinguishing the fire around the room.

For the reaminding of the night Kai was unable to get any sleep.
