Kai had slept two whole days after Mr. Tenco left him there. He was sleeping soundly when suddenly he heard the system notification.

[Survive the Arrival]

An older brother seeks revenge for your evil deeds.

"Is this the first thing I have to wake up to?" Kai said annoyed because it was the first time he had slept. He stood up and cracked his neck and stretched his body.

Kai glanced at the quest and sighed in concern. "So he's already here?" he said.

He took a shower and put on a fresh uniform. He exited the room and was met by Ltc. Black who had his arms crossed and had a menacing look.

"Follow me!" he said.

Kai walked along with the Ltc. until they reached a wall that opened upon Black scanning his hand in a device.

*Ding*

The device made an approved sound. The wall then opened like a sliding door, and behind this wall was an elevator. They quickly entered while the wall behind them closed, the Ltc pushed to the bottom for the top floor.

"So where are we going?" Kai asked while the elevator went up.

"To the meeting room with the rest of the power houses of stone edge" He said this shocked Kai he had only met three people of power within the school so he was curious who the rest were.

Upon arriving Kai's eyes widened as he saw the rectangle table and saw a student there beside her was Vulcan, and in front of the girl was another person who had the same badge as Ltc. Black.

"This must be Ltc. Dorman of the second year" Kai thought, he then realized that General Varques wasn't here.

"Kai Hellbound, I heard you beat my knight," Abby said with her eyes closed.

"Your knight? That means you're the queen right? Kai said mocky the black haired girl.

*Boom*

The aura of Abby exploded which shocked everyone, Abby was the type of person that was always calm. Kai frowned upon feeling this aura. The temperature of the room dropped as the icy auta covered it completely.

'System, is this the power of a B rank?'Kai asked in his head.

<High B rank to be exact>

"How do I reach rank B?" He asked.

<User need to evolve his element, and learn how to envelope his body with it>

"So, I'm close," Kai smiled.

"Insolent brat!" Aby shouted as she was about to attack Kai but she stopped upon looking at Dorman. She retracted her aura.

Kai was not fazed by her aura, he had encountered some terrifying aura and her's fell short.

"I'm surprised Darya lost to her, I can definitely win so Darya should be able to do it" Kai arrived at just one conclusion Darya lost on purpose.

"We are here to discuss Kai's situation, as you may know my son Cain will come after him and we need to prepare" Ltc Black said.

"Can't you deal with your own son? We have more important things to do" Vulcan said, annoyed by this meeting.

"I recently discovered that he was able to enter the continent with the help of Mr. Bermont" when saying that the others' faces darkened which made Kai frown.

"Who is Mr. Bermont?" Kai asked

This made Vulcan slap his forehead.

"He is a low SSS rank earth elementalist" Abby said while she scoffed.

"Well, with his backing he could wage war against the school if he wanted to since the only person that can rival Bermont is General Varques and he's not in the continent" Dormant said with his arm crossed.

"You guys don't have any other SSS ranks?" Kai asked.

The room fell silent as they couldn't guess if Kai was just making fun of them.

"Kai you do realize they're only around ten SSS ranks in the whole world right?" Ltc Black asked.

"ONLY TEN?" Kai looked at his hand.

"But it's so easy to gain power or is it because of the system?" Kai thought in silence.

"Okay just make some calls to see if we can get some reinforcements just in case, '' Ltc Black said .

"We are at war against the beast, and after the incident of Board city with Savage our force is spread thin" Dormant said with his head lowered.

"Incident?" Kai asked himself.

After more talking the meeting was over and Kai returned to his class. After taking his classes he met up with Layla.

When she looked at Kai she smiled and quickly ran towards him and gave him a big hug. This made Kai blushed for a second before he gently pushed her off him.

"Hey do you know what happened at board city?" Kai asked her.

She nodded in response.

"There is no Board City anymore, Blaze Savage destroyed it" she said with her head lowered.

She then pulled out her school tablet and showed Kai a video. A very small ball of light was dropping in the middle of the city where a gigantic bird-like beast was on top of the building.

Once the light touched the ground a pillar of light appeared and expanded the creature trying to fend off the light but it was too powerful. The light pillar covered the whole city and when it fainted there was nothing left.

After that Layla told Kai about how many people started to riot about bad power usage. The people demand an explanation from Blaze Savage.

But Blaze didn't even apologize, just said he was following orders from the military through a phone interview and hung up. This shifted the hate of the people to the military.

"So that's why they're spread too thin," he said.

At Ltc Black office

Black was singing papers.

*knock*

"Come in" The Ltc said to his surprise it was Dormant.

"What brings you here?" Black said.

"There's one option that we didn't discuss: we could just send Kai to the south side of the wall and keep him in hiding while we stall for time," Dormant said.

"That's a good idea, I'll keep it in mind," Ltc Black said.

"You realize this is inevitable right? He will be a powerhouse in the future but not now we need to protect him. Tell him to get ready, I'll arrange transport for tomorrow at midnight," Dormant said as he shut the door while leaving.

Ltc Black sighed.

"I'm sorry Layla but I can't keep him alive here" he said as he held a picture of a younger version of Layla on top of his shoulders.
