The beginning (1)

Two days have passed since I got chased by the fog. The days went by like it never happened, like everything I experienced that day was a dream.

As it started to get darker we saw light coming from afar. We went closer hoping it was someone who could help us go to Corn Village. We found where the light was coming from. It was coming from inside this cabin. It looked dirty, old, and smelled bad but Owen had to suggest we go in it

The moment we stepped in a stench filled our noses. It smelled like rotten eggs and milk, but oddly enough we couldn't find where the stench was coming from.

We looked around for anyone but nothing.

"Welcome my dinner. This is what you guys should consider your death but I consider birth." A deep voice said.

"What are you talking about?" I questioned.

"Well I'll tell you since you begged me and youre about to die anyway. long story short, I will kill you and take your souls hence your death. But since I'll be eating your souls, it's birth to my food. Pretty clever or me right?" He said while standing behind us.

I didn't even notice him there. I think none of us did which means he is stronger than us, which could be very troublesome.

He quickly went behind me and tried to grab me by the neck but missed. I quickly tried to run out of the cabin but it was locked. Before I could try to laser down the door he successfully grabbed my neck and held me up.

"U-Um Im not delicious! But I know someone who is so tasty. It's my friend Veronica! She right over there by the corner!"

He turned to look at Veronica and was distracted so I kicked him and quickly ran far away from him. Owen got out his sword and ran towards him. They both started fighting using multiple spells, it looked like a firework show.

Owen was in a human body so he was significantly weaker and could use his full power either while somehow the weirdo could. The Weirdo started gaining the upper hand while Owen started getting more cuts and bruises. It was obvious he was loosing, but I couldn't do anything since I temporarily got my stuff taken away for killing too many people in this world.

I got out my sword that my mother gave me telling me it's a heirloom or something like that. I didnt pay attention. 'I need a spell to distract him!' I got the first spell that came in my brain. it was a water dragon spell I learned a while back.

I shot it close to him and while he was distracted I ran and hit him on the arm. It was like he couldn't feel pain, he didnt even flinch.

"What the hell? how didnt he feel that? I made sure to hit a blood vessel!" I got out my sword to hit him again but he disappeared. He reappeared in front of Veronica and chopped her head off. Blood went everywhere, she died on the spot.

The same thing happened again but he appeared in front of the Crown Prince. If he kills the Crown Prince the world will collapse, everyone in the world will die and their souls will be destroyed. The Crown Prince can only be killed by people from this world not outsiders or the world and everyone's soul will be destroyed. No one will have a chance to reincarnate, I dont even know if my soul will be destroyed or not, nor if the same will happen to Owen.

"OWEN! YOU HAVE TO STOP HIM!" I was obviously weaker than Owen so he has a significantly higher chance of stopping him than me. The only thing i could do is distract him a bit, but im not even sure if that'll work.

I cloned myself and ordered them to go distract it and I put a protection spell on our souls so it could have at least a 1% chance of surviving.

He raised his sword to cut the Crown Prince's head but Owen stopped it in time.

"RUN!" I screamed at the Crown Prince and immediately everything went dark. I felt a splash of blood go on me.
