Kyle looked down at the mop of white hair that had made a seat on his lap. Furina sat there, her eyes closed in contentment as she leaned on his chest and held his hands.

Well, he was not one to complain about the unexpected development. They sat inside a parlour adjacent to the courtroom, a sense of calm enveloping them.

Meanwhile, Clorinde stood outside to keep watch and give them some privacy, much to Furina's insistence.

For Kyle, this moment was surreal yet oddly comforting. Despite the strangeness of the situation, he felt a connection with Furina, as if they were meant to meet in this unexpected way.

He gently ran his fingers through her hair, feeling its softness and warmth. Furina sighed softly, a smile playing on her lips.

"Miss Furina, if you're fine now, can you kindly answer some of my questions?" Kyle asked gently.

Furina turned her head, her fingers caressing Kyle's face as she looked at him with a mixture of sadness and fondness.

"You... don't remember, do you?" she replied softly.

Kyle's brows furrowed in confusion. "Remember what?" he asked, his voice filled with uncertainty.

Furina sighed, her expression tinged with sorrow. "You were once someone very important to me, Kyle," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "But it seems... you've forgotten everything."

"Kyle Pierre, the first Champion Duelist of Fontaine, my dear friend and my....." Furina trailed off, her voice catching in her throat.

Kyle's eyes widened as her words sank in. He was Kyle Pierre, the Champion Duelist? He needed some privacy and fast, he and the system had some serious talking to do.

"The exact same face, the same eyes, the same way he carried himself, the same charisma, I cannot be mistaken, you're definitely him," Furina continued, her voice filled with certainty.

Kyle's mind raced as he tried to process everything. It was almost too much to take in all at once. He had been someone important, someone revered, and he had completely forgotten.

But there was no time to dwell on that now. He needed to find out what had happened, why he had lost his memories, and how he could get them back.

"Miss Furina, thank you for telling me," Kyle said, his voice steady despite the turmoil inside him. "I need to figure some things out. Can we talk more later?"

Kyle looked around the new room he found himself in. It was spacious and elegantly furnished, with a comfortable bed, a writing desk, and a large window that let in plenty of natural light.

He had managed to convince Furina to give him some time alone, but she was adamant that he shouldn't be far from her sight. The compromise was that he would be staying in the Palais Mermonia, in a room adjacent to her own.

Kyle glanced at the life simulation system hovering in front of him. It had refused to answer any of his questions so far, and this was the only option available to him.

Kyle hesitated for a moment, then made up his mind.

"Yes," he said firmly. "Enable simulation."
